Jenna Hutchins, 16, runs 15:34.47 outdoor 5000

 
I also noticed that Annie Rodenfels was the runner up in that 5,000 on Friday. She is from Centerville, went to high school at Dayton Christian, and attended college at, and ran for, Centre College. She twice was the NCAA D3 national champion in the steeplechase in 2018 & '19 and also won the 5,000 in '19. Her collegiate 5,000 best in 2019 was 16:35. She has taken a minute off of that in less than a year.
 
Great achievement! Let's hope that she is handled wisely, stays healthy and happy, and is able to have continuing success in her running career.
