I wouldn’t expect anything exciting on the AC job being filled. Their hire is going to be someone pretty local.

Two issues at play: 1) Amanda doesn’t have the resources to bring in a well-credentialed coach with assistants in tow who will also work in the building. 2) The unceremonious end to Steve Daulton’s time there really eroded at the job’s attractiveness in the Central OH circles.

I think their best move is getting someone who understands the program’s tradition, has a good finger on the pulse of the community and has the networking to build a competent & complete staff. On paper it’d be underwhelming — but it can still be a good hire for the program.

1. Chuck Williamson is replacing Coach Dan Arndt as the new Head Football Coach at Marion Harding (Division II).
2. Charles Woolridge is replacing Coach Mike Blochowski as the new Head Football Coach at Toledo St Francis (Division II).
3. Scott Valentine is replacing Coach Sean Seder as the new Head Football Coach at Ashland (Division II).
4. Eric Becker is replacing Coach Jeff Schliesser as the new Head Football Coach at Defiance Tinora (Division V).
5. Mansfield Madison Comprehensive (Division III) is now looking for a new Head Football Coach to replace Coach Scott Valentine.
6. Peninsula Woodridge (Division II) is now looking for a new Head Football Coach to replace Coach Jeff Decker.
7. Bellefontaine Benjamin Logan (Division IV) is now looking for a new Head Football Coach to replace Coach Jeff Frey.

From what I have read elsewhere Clearfork has made a decision just haven't announced it. News to come in the next few days.

I have many sources at JA, not the only position that DC has applied for either.
