I’m talking general statements about coaches, teachers, administrators and school boards. Some very good ones, but too many chasing their own agendas. If you want the students/ athletes All in, then more of these people need to be all in. Kids are Not Stupid !

One late change that was made WAS 100% virus/family related. Lehman planned on coaching this year and then retiring. Talking to his family during the lockdown, he decided now was the right time.

Expect an announcement soon from Toledo Whitney; I was told they have a coach pending approval.

Jordan Strack of WTOL11 reporting that BGSU assistant Anthony Stacey will be taking the Toledo Whitmer job. Stacey was formerly the head coach at Medina and Sandusky although he left Sandusky to take a college job before coaching a game there.

At West Geauga (Division II), Jeff Javorek has resigned (wasn't going to be renewed despite 16 wins this past season). That's from the Lake County News-Herald.

At Lorain Clearview (Division II), long-time coach John Szalay has retired. That's from cleveland.com and other media outlets.

At Strongsville (Division I), Kevin Sapara replaces John Lipowaki.

At Avon (Division I), Mike Fitch replaces Kevin Sapara who went to Strongsville. Both of those from cleveland.com.

At Akron East (Division II), Chad Hazard replaces Brian Dawson. That's from ohio.com.

At Cincinnati Hughes (Division II), Derrell Black replaces Bryan Wyant who went to Cincinnati Princeton. That's from wcpo.com.

At Hamler Patrick Henry (Division IV), Bryan Hieber replaces C.J. Holman. That's from several media outlets in NW Ohio.

At Harrod Allen East Division III), Gabe Young replaces Brad Clum. That's from the Lima News.

Pepper Pike Orange (Division II) is open after Ashen ward left to take the VASJ job.

Mansfield Christian is Division IV.

At Toledo Scott (Division II), Rayshawn Craig replaced Laurence Collins. Collins replaced Rodney Martin after the '18-'19 season when Martin took the Toledo Rogers job. Fred Coogler last coached at Scott during the '16-'17 season.

Bill Mallernee is the new Boys basketball head coach at Johnstown Northridge replacing Brian Blume. (Per Newark Advocate) he been in the Northridge system since 2014 and served as an assistant on Brian Blume staff. He was the middle schools boys coach last couple of years.
