IRONMAN is December 10 & 11, again with a mighty field, incl SPGraham, Blair, st Eds, many of Pennsylvania's best teams, a couple Illinois powerhouses, and as usual a good group of Caifornia kids incl McIntosh --about 17 states represented.

i want to bump this one time, since passes will sell out within the next 2 weeks or less, and without a pass a fan cant get into the finals. (There are Door sales for all other sessions except finals.)

Ironman is Dec 10 & 11, starts friday Dec 10 at One PM.

It is interesting that several schools are wrestling 2 or 3 wrestlers. Based on my interpretation of the rules, that takes 3 points from the schedule the remaining members of their team can wrestle, unless the particular team has a "B" team schedule. How do most teams work this?

if its an Ohio team, yes a B team is allowed under OHSAA rules, thats how they can send a partial to a tourn like the Ironman without effecting the rest of the varsity team.

other states have their own unique rules, i let those coaches handle that, like California always sends a handful of small partials. s/BobP

bump-- had Ironman meeeting yesterday, all-session-pass sales are brisk-- need one to get into Finals. Can purchase on website www.walshjesuit.org or in person at the ADs office, No phone or email sales. s/BobP

Mr. Preusse,

Any word on apple valley (mn) attending the tourney? Im assuming they got the invite considering they are the preseason #1 hs team in the country according to intermatwrestle.com.

Apple Valley # 1 by Am Wr News too but cant come, forbidden by Minnesota state rules.

not easy to put together a great high school field, alot of states rules eliminate Ironman. If not for state rules we could have top teams from MN, Iowa, Michigan, Indiana, New York, New Jersey publics. s/BobP

Ah thank you for the info. Cant wait for the tourney. Always the best wrestling in the country. Stupid state rules... I personally dont believe they are #1 but im biased because of the oppurtunity to see graham and blair and eds wrestle every year.

When will teams start entering kids into their weight classes. I assume some of the teams that are only sending a couple of kids know what weight they will be at.

Anyone planning on an Ironman preview?
