I voted for 7 games. I could see the win total as high as 9 or as low as 5. The defense should be solid and keep them in most if not every game. QB and offensive line are two big question marks for this team. If Donny finds the answers to those two areas I see the wins closer to 9.

I would really like to know who voted for the Vikings to win 4 or 5 games. These people must be completely clueless. There is very little chance of anything less than 8 wins as far as i'm concerned.

I wouldn't count heavily on that last statement. While Hoover may very well end up with 8+ wins, there is a 50/50 chance that a 6-7 win season could happen, as well.

Jackson, Hoover and McKinley all have fairly similar chances of winning the league title this year and should all be considered formidable foes of other teams - the only exception might be with my Bears if the PTP scares some kids off (although nothing indicates that as of yet). All three of us have both very good kids returning plus newer kids that'll make some marks.

Also, don't chalk up "automatic wins" against CCC, Fitch, and Louisville. CCC is supposed to be pretty tough this year, and Fitch should be far better than last year (possibly to the point of competing for the league title again). Plus, how many kids does Louisville return from that undefeated (i.e. they beat you) team last year?

Lastly, Perry & Boardman are both on the upswing, but you have both at home, so I'd say those are reasonably safe bets for wins. Lake and GO should be wins, but playing on the road - you never know. Coolidge is the only team on that list where I'd put significant amounts of money on a Hoover win on, although GO would be right behind them.

I voted for "7", as I feel Hoover will lose 1-2 against McK and Jackson, plus 1-2 against other teams.

I'm gonna go with 9 wins.

CCC, so i have heard, is gonna be a tough team. They return some pretty good guys.
DC is always big, but doesn't play well. They do have the #1 defensive player in the Nation.
Louiville is a competition, but to have them come to hoover it should be a W.
McKinley brings back a strong runningback and I heard they have a couple of good transfered players.
GO is a W for Hoover.
Perry and Fitch will come to play. Both teams that are on the road to the FLC, but not this year.
Boardman is another W for Hoover.
Jackson will be a tough game. They look pretty strong with some good returners, but Hoover will get it done on the road.
