Hoover to fight for play-offs

Great coaching, fans, and tradition should result in a 7-3 season.

There is more talent on this team than most fans realize, and they have a great work ethic.

Furthermore,i look for the Vikings to pull off an upset or two to teams with more talent.

IMO,The further the year goes the more you will notice the excellent coaching paying off.And the more confident the players and team will become.

I say 7-3 and fighting for the play-offs.

7-3 is a very legitimate prediction, we shall see.

I said all season 6-4 hopefully 7-3. Now I am saying 7-3 hopefully 8-2.

Could be 8-2,but one off night or another team playing over there heads would be 7-3.

Levi,i think you might finally believe i was sincere when i picked Hoover as the most underated team in the Fed BEFORE the season started.

It's hard to get a bead on many teams living in Florida.I try my best to get accurate information from the most reliable sources i have.I know pretty much about McKinley and Iggy.I know a thing or two about Hoover, and not much about the other Fed teams besides the Canton Repository and Yappi.

I have been watching Hoover since i was 10 years old and McKinley and Hoover were my favorite teams.Hoover and McKinley were my favorite teams through high school.I have watched Hoover over the years many, many times.....Almost always rooting for them.In 1975 i still liked Hoover, but hanging out in N. Canton all the time some things happened that i wish did not in the community and by "some" fans, students, and players. It happened again in 1976,77,and 1978.

I have gone to many Hoover games since then and have rooted for the Vikings.I think we have something in common.I believe you like the Canton McKinley football team and always have. But it makes it tuff on you to cheer them on when "some" McKinley fans attack and make fun of Hoover and the Fed.I'm in the same boat when it comes to Hoover.I have ambivulent feelings about North Canton's football team.I quess it's like how the "media" can almost make you hate a team or player you like.

Anyway,i wanted to clear the air.I want to root for Hoover every game(my idols from age 10-20)and sometimes do,but the other matters make it hard to do sometimes.Just like i suspect you feel about McKinley.I bet I'm the only McKinley fan who knows you like McKinley's football team/program.

I think you get my point.I hope someday i can again root for both McKinley and N. C. Hoover every game except against each other.

But i have and will ALWAYS respect Viking football.I'm sincere in my predictions and not trying to set up anybody for a fall.

Well, the good news is that even though Hoover lost this past Friday, they actually moved up 1 spot from 14th to 13th in the regional points standings. Thank God for Level 2 points. That 8th spot will get closer with a win over Boardman.
