Federal League

Great golf played by Miles & the group from Green. They definitely have to be one of the favorites to win it as a team. Others from The Federal League to advance to States in Columbus next week are Sophomore Gunnar McCollins shooting a 70 and also Senior Jake Barth shooting 75. Jake Barth had to wait 3 hours for the rest of the field to finish on Monday at Pine Hills D1 Districts. He found himself in a 5 man playoff including Neil Augustine from Jackson for the 3 remaining spots to go to Columbus. On the first playoff hole Barth birdied and punched his ticket to Columbus. Augustine bogied to end his year. All and all the Federal League was well represented, Freshmen Brandon Jatich from GlenOak. Unfortunately, he did not have his best stuff on Monday. Hoover had two seniors compete, Senior Emmet Caskey shot 76, 1 shot out of the playoff and Senior Brandon Obermiller struggled on the back nine to shoot 83. Congrats to all and The Perry Panther community wish all State Bound competitors best of luck!
