I think that the old Lancer Hotel may have finally been torn down. The relocated Steak House failed a while back - or moved again.

Something is still going on around the old Theatrical.....

How about messing with the hookers on Prospect, letting them reach in the car windows or even flirting around on the sidewalk while trying to keep them from picking your pockets.....

Had two tix 4th row center for their next Cleveland show, cancelled after Bonzo's death. Not a Belkin Production, but mail order via Concerts West c/o the Richfield Coliseum. Mailed mine at the Richfield Post Office in the "Local" slot.

I wish I'd not sent back for the $24 refund. Probably just bought a nickel bag and some beer.

By the way in case there are any Led Zeppelin fans out there here is a copy of Destroyer if you want to give it a listen:

Stellar quality for a bootleg ripped from the soundboard in 1977, you can hear a pin drop during the key solo on No Quarter. Also the drums are up front in the mix and you can really tell why Bonzo is arguable the best drummer in the history of rock & roll.

I'm about halfway through it. I looked it up as soon as you mentioned it.

Nothing quite like magician/musicians at the height of their powers.

As for Geauga Lake, it never needed to close. Cedar Fair simply bought it to close it and send NEO west more often than they went already.

Buying Geauga Lake just to close it probably sold hundreds of season passes at Cedar Point, and thousands more single entries in the first year alone. The economy of scale in a more full park must be much more profitable. Higher prices without competition just down the turnpike.

Plus, without that glut, you never get the market for the whore deal of the fast-pass, either. Good for them, too bad for us.

It was like playing a slot machine. Never sure if you would get connected and just hoping that final image would light up with the connected message. Back in the mid 90s, we got a dedicated telephone line to always stay connected so we wouldn't have to worry whether we could get a "good" phone number to connect to.

If you actually still have that poster with Sprinsteen geeting second billing, it would be worth beaucoup de dollars.
