Princeton has a serious problem with penalties. Adding another 16 for 160 yards in ACCEPTED penalties. That puts the Vikes over 1000 yards in penalties through just 10 games smh. As I stated earlier this week the Viking offense would struggle as they did tonight. The OC was absolutely terrible. Mason had 60+ offensive plays totaling in 33 minutes of of the game, compared to Princeton’s 41 plays and 15 minutes of possession. Mason had more rushing attempts than Princeton had offensive plays smh.

Princeton is now 103 penalties and 1,083 yards in 10 games.

Let’s not ignore the fact that most of those penalties were garbage calls. And I understand the supposedly “block in the back” call on the Princeton scoop and score. But how does Mason get the ball back? Princeton should’ve protest of the game but at the same time your offense did nothing to help you win that game.

I watched the replay several times and I did not see a block in the back. Refuse to believe that only Princeton holds. Play-calling did not help.

Exactly. 16 to 5 in penalties. Come on something was up with uncles for Mason officiating the game.
Mason did not get the ball back. Here's the sequence from the Mason ICRC broadcast:
I'm pretty sure the block in the back was called on the player who threw up his hands and then stopped running at the 30 yard line.

If that is 100% a block in the back. Then these are 100% missed calls in Mason favor.

I’m just saying 16-5 come on now. Mason won that game. I will say they were the better team and had a great defensive gameplay.Blaming the refs for calling penalties on your team… classic.

If it makes you feel any better, WW fans used to cry about all the penalties every year too. lol.

Too be fair I been complaining about the penalties before Parker came here. My thing is Princeton definitely makes silly mistakes at the right time almost every game for years. But at the same time it definitely seems like the refs target Princeton players for anything and allows the opponent to get away with a lot of potential penalties. I'm not making any excuses for my Vikes. We definitely give the refs reasons to throw that flag 10 times a gameAre we gonna keep pretending like that’s some kind of outlier for a Parker coached team?

Also on the block in the back. I would lean towards it wasn't a penalty, but the Princeton player has to be smarter as he leaned his shoulder slightly into the Mason player while running. Just got to be smarter. But this was a great win for Mason and a good defensive scheme
