Glenville

All of this and you and everyone else with an ounce of football knowledge would trade Massillon’s roster for our roster. And get this, we’re only going to start a few seniors this Fall. 😀
Defensively, in the playoffs, Glenville's roster gave up 71 playoff points to 6 (DIVISION 4) teams.

Massillon gave up 34 playoff points.

You mean those rosters?

Clock out. Oh, sorry....that's what people with jobs do when the work day is over....oh sorry, jobs are something people have where they trade labor for money.
Make sense. It’s 2024 and we haven’t yet reached WFH and or PTO. And of course us Glenville folk don’t work, wes just wait on da guvment to give us foodstamps and a check on da furst of da munth.

Lol....Nah. we're not trying to win the D4 title.
It’s crazy for as much of a football fan you are, you can’t be honest. Look at our 2026-28 classes. What coach wouldn’t take Glenville over Massillon in those classes? I’d think Massillon has a better 2025 class for sure. You can be a Massillon fan and still acknowledge the three classes of kids that traveled across the country playing elite youth football is very very talented and within reason possesses more talent than Massillon (and any other school except maybe Hoban). You guys have serious talent so that’s a not a knock. And yes every single kid lives in the Glenville zone.

Yes. I mean those rosters. Please do some research on our incoming Fr., Soph, and Jrs. Stack up each class depth chart and tell me where’d you take Massillon over Glenville. Look at our ‘26 kids on defense alone. Sit this one out.

Maybe you better worry about your own town rather than come and rip on the safety of the Glenville community. You’ve had a kid bring a gun to school (end of last year) and a shooting at your local theatre in the last 12 hours.
Couldn’t be true. The community supports their high school football team, no way the incidents occurred neither did a brawl involving several football players take place in a school restroom. No way negative things happen in Massillon.

Nobody thinks Massillon is perfect but anytime a single remotely bad thing happens in it the folks from canton and Cleveland (two of the most crime ridden places in the country) say “see look Massillon is just as bad”
I don’t. I just want to talk football, there are plenty of websites to talk crime and other stuff. Just a note, Cleveland directly borders Shaker Heights and Bratenahl (two of the most wealthy places in the state) so by proximity and somewhat ironically certain pockets of Cleveland are safer than beautiful and world renowned Massillon, OH.

Yes. Akron, Ohio is home to Merriman Rd and the directly surrounding area which has higher home value and is safer than any part of Massillon, OH. But why do facts matter? Back to football, line up and play us.
You say that you want to just discuss football, then you post crime stats. LOL. Please don’t post total crime statistics for Cleveland and Akron in comparison to Massillon, it’s like comparing apples and oranges. Don’t embarrass yourself.

Please show where I posted crime stats. You literally can’t and won’t be able to. Someone doesn’t know the difference between facts and stats and this same person advise we not to “embarrass yourself”. You can’t make this up. I have zero interest in posting total crime statistics for Cleveland and Akron in comparison to Massillon. What I will say is there are homes and areas in both Cleveland and Akron that have higher home value and is safer than Massillon. Now back to football, your Tigers gonna step up and play us in 2025?

Serious question… Do you guys live in the Massillon south of Akron with route 21 running through it? Or is there another Massillon in Silicon Valley or The Hamptons that I’m unfamiliar with?

Please stick with football. Your other deflections are hilarious.
Now, go back to discussing football, which includes your pseudo D-4 program.

Let’s do it. We’re breaking in a new QB much like you guys although yours has previous starting experience. We also have to replace two OSU commits, an ACC OT commit, our stud RB and S both headed to Miami (OH), our QB and another S headed to Kent and a few other kids playing at the next level. Sounds like a lot because it is a lot and that’s what makes this season exciting, seeing the young kids who were groomed for this finally get their shot. Upper Arlington will be a tough opener, if I were making the schedule I would have flipped UA and Liberty. Avon, Ed’s, and Hoban will be HUGE challenges but that’s why these kids chose to play for Coach Ginn. Will be an exciting season hopefully ending with another trip to Canton, coming out of a tougher R13.

When Nate Moore drops those other two games so Massillon fans have something to talk about and leave this thread

Who is this quarterback that you keep referring to?
Just say his name? Is it Tomlinson? Where’s he from , a little back story would be great. Don’t like trying to read tea leaves
What exactly are you talking about? I'm not alluding to anyone; I'm just saying they've had three straight transfer quarterbacks, and it's too early to determine whether they'll have a fourth because Tomlinson didn't sign until the summer.

That 100% would not happen because a transfer QB is not an option. Not sure why that’s so hard for you to comprehend.
“Commit” and “sign” we get it and it’s very clever. We’re all set at QB with the kids that were groomed through the Ginn Elite program playing a national youth schedule. Hopefully we get your favorite team on the schedule in 2025.
LMMFAO

My guy. You've brought up racism numerous times, even comparing the current Ginn football Academy team to the team from the film "Remember the Titans," which was loosely based on a true story. You've also stated that Massillon residents aren't racist because you've slept with overweight YT women from that area. Football talk. Please.

I think he meant Gridiron Gang not Remember the Titans lol

I’m kidding I’m kidding

Am I off my rocker, or should Massillon and Glenville fans get along?

Best regards,

Polarized Fanbases
Not when a good portion of one of these fanbases act like they root for Hudson or something. I hope the two schools never play and when the OHSAA comes calling for them too ill just watch folks say what they say about our boys. Simple lol

I'm excited that Avon and Hoban are still on the schedule. But I'm extra excited for St. Edward being back. That program is a juggernaut, year in and year out. Those three teams will prepare any team for the playoffs. I'm glad Glenville's playing them
I admired Coach Buttermore’s work when he was at Tri-Valley. He now has Upper Arlington rolling. Olentangy Liberty always makes opponents work hard for a win. Avon and Hoban are D2 elite programs and St Edward has largely ruled D1 for a while now. That is five strong games for Glenville. Sure, their five Senate games are soft, but few schools in Ohio will play a tougher five games than Glenville’s out of conference games.
