GlenOak recovers to beat Jackson in Overtime 27-21

PLAIN TWP. He didn’t act nervous. He didn’t play nervous.

But when his team suddenly trailed for the first time with just more than two minutes left Friday, Brandon Martin admits, “I was a little nervous.”

“But I couldn’t let my teammates see that,” the GlenOak High School quarterback said. “I had to keep my composure, because I know my teammates will follow me.”

Martin kept his composure late in regulation to help tie the game before GlenOak pulled out a 27-21 overtime win over visiting Jackson. The Golden Eagles sprinted onto Bob Commings Field to celebrate the win when sophomore Brionte Dunn ended it with a 2-yard touchdown run.
