That's my biggest fear. We're just picking him because we don't want to regret it later. We see so many of these guys, especially quarterbacks, OVER drafted.Plus he isn’t good enough to be the #1 overall pick

Yes, but at the end of the day it was pretty close, the SEC with 15 picks (via 9 schools) and the Big Ten had 11 picks (via only 4 schools). OSU led the way with 4, Michigan, Texas and Georgia had 3 each. Oregon, Penn State, Alabama and Ole Miss had 2 each. The Big Ten has won lately in CFB but the SEC continues to dominate the NFL draft. Crazy how many first rounders that conference produces

26 of the 32 picks from those 2 conferences. Wow.
Titans fan here, until we hit a gusher with a QB I'll remain skeptical. Seems like a really good kid, grounded and home grown. I just hope his skill set can be NFL level. To me with the overall #1, I'd want more of a sure thing.None of the QBs jump off the board to me. Can Ward was good but the ACC was garbage. I’m not a scout so whatever.
The big ten is still incredibly top heavy and that's never changing. Ohio State is the king, Michigan has had recent success and Penn State is always waiting in the wings. Outside of that just a few NFL caliber players dot rosters. In the SEC, every team in that league has multiple NFL caliber players on both sides of the ball, especially in the trenches. This discussion comes up every year. People bag on the ACC, the big ten isn't far ahead of them. The Big Ten has won lately in CFB but the SEC continues to dominate the NFL draft. Yes it was sad. I think Deion paid Mel, or something. It was blatant. How pathetic has Mel Kiper become?
Boosting Sanders every time the camera was on him, and Shadeur riding Mel's "Best Player Available" graphic most of the first round?
lol. The Big 10 had 11 first round picks from 4 schools last night. All four schools had at least 2 drafted. The ACC had 1 total. Why do you refuse to live in reality? The big ten is still incredibly top heavy and that's never changing. Not only Kiper but many of these talking heads. They seem to have no understanding of reading the room. Sanders skill sets are very good, but he's not a guy that's a lock down franchise QB. When you are being drafted by a team, the organization has to take EVERYTHING into consideration. That includes how you carry yourself, attitude, ability to work with others, etc.How pathetic has Mel Kiper become?

Let's take a close look at Sanders, he's had one coach in his life. His dad. Deion was his high schools offensive coordinator. Then Deion got the Jackson State job, and Shedeur backed off the FSU commit and went to Jackson State??? This is ACC, D1, historical program Florida State for a HBCU "meh" program. Heck Deion himself should have told him he's not following him to Jackson State. Then Deion gets the Colorado job and boom, Shedeur has yet another job. So probably the #1 question, is can Shedeur be coached? Weeks ago you come out and say there are teams that if you get drafted to you're not going there? Really? Probably like to walk that back.
You obviously know I am a Michigan fan. And you are going to 100% disagree with me in this. And that is ok, because this is opinion based. I watched probably every Will Johnson Michigan game. I've seen him get roasted many games and times. And big play/TD roasted. IMHO, he is the most over rated Michigan Wolverine of all time. I know he some big plays in some big games. But I just never saw "stud" out of him.Cannot believe Will Johnson didn’t get selected. That would have made the count closer. Supposed knee problem
Whoever picks him will be coaching him in one ear while Deion coaches him in the other.
It’s a train wreck waiting to happen.
Not gonna disagree, you would know more than me about him. I did hear that he's better in zone vs man which is a big NO NO if you want to be picked in the first round. His speed and height/length seem so elite thoughYou obviously know I am a Michigan fan. And you are going to 100% disagree with me in this. And that is ok, because this is opinion based.
