Range improved when we hooked up a significantly lighter trailer, but not by as much as you might expect.

I watched a video a couple of years ago, done by an engineer who owns a tesla. In that video he explained that towing was just not really in the cards for EVs. It seems he was right, and time has not brought us any closer to making it a reality.

So electric earth movers and giant excavators are out to? But then again that's probably a feature to the green zealots. If we can't move dirt and dig big holes we can't build things. And building things is bad for the environment!

As has been demonstrated, trucks can be made electric, but it doesn't mean it makes sense to tow with them. Did you even read the article? The equipmet is down a lot due to needing to be recharged. So yeah, they did it, but it doesn't make any sense.
