Not sure why it took him so long and he probably wouldn't have if Dixon hadn't issued a return to his employees a few weeks earlier. Chase goes back to work next Monday 3/3 Full TimeWTH took Dewine so long to make them come back? I have never heard why
Sheetz in Boardman jumped. Was $2.829 ($2.529 for 88) and just saw today it was $3.199. Only got gas on Tuesday. All of the places right new me by the old Eastland mall raised their prices 31cents, with the exception of two stations right beside each other, they lowered by 20 cents. Strange thing is both of those stations are usually the highest in the area.
Oil 67.19
Lowest gas 2.79
Highest 2.99 (seems to be the common price)
I was thinking that might be some of it. I notice the giant chains (Sheetz, GetGo) are having the biggest one-day swings. The smaller and independent stations are only slowly moving up from their lows.Got it last night at Walmart for $2.58. Saw it for $3.19 at a couple different places and decided to fill up even thought still had over half a tank.
Maybe some stations are trying to gouge the spring breakers heading out of town???
trumpy has to get the Saudis to produce more as American oil companies produce less: https://oilprice.com/Energy/Energy-...igence firm Kpler, many US shale oil producers.Crude oil markets took a fresh hit this weekend after OPEC+ stunned traders by announcing a larger-than-expected output increase for June. In a virtual meeting on Saturday, key producers led by Saudi Arabia and Russia agreed to raise collective output by 411,000 barrels per day (bpd), nearly triple the volume originally scheduled.
The move follows a similar surge announced for May and signals a sharp reversal from OPEC+ efforts to defend oil prices. Instead, Riyadh appears to be embracing a low-price strategy, aiming to discipline overproducing members like Kazakhstan and Iraq. Both nations have repeatedly exceeded their quotas, with Kazakhstan surpassing its March target by 422,000 bpd.
"OPEC+ has just thrown a bombshell to the oil market," Jorge Leon of Rystad Energy told Bloomberg. "With this move, Saudi Arabia is seeking to punish lack of compliance and also ingratiate itself with President Trump."
President Donald Trump has loudly demanded lower oil prices, and with fresh tariffs rattling global markets, OPEC+ appears to be aligning with Washington’s inflation-fighting agenda. Trump is set to visit the Middle East this month, and closer energy cooperation may be on the table.
Not sure it will get below $2 but it is going to be down from the previous years. And thats exactly what he campaigned on. Plus there are many regulations put on by the Biden Adm. that still need to be fixed .
trumpy says gasoline is a 1.98 what a liar. How low the standard has dropped to be POTUS.
