Playing only Opponents from Ohio would mean the Ohio Bobcats would finish 3rd at best every yr in the “Standings”! OU would lose every time to OSU and UC!

Pumped for Kent vs Ohio State
This just released ... Ohio State's 2020 11-game schedule:

Baldwin Wallace (Should be an easy opening victory for the Buckeyes)
Mount Union (Another OSU victory)
Dayton (First away game...at Welcome Stadium...should be a sellout)
Toledo (Schedule starts getting tougher)
Akron
Bowling Green
Wright State (club team...finally, a breather for the Bucks after three straight MAC teams)
BYE
Ohio
Miami
Kent State (trap game, before the big showdown against Cincinnati)
Cincinnati (mark your calendars...Buckeyes only won by 42 last year)

Should have scheduled Oberlin. I believe they are the last Ohio school to beat OSU in football. 1921.

Actually the future of NCAA football is 3 letters NIL, Name, Image, & Likeness, rights. You are already starting to see recruiting focus on this and the winners in football will be schools in larger markets with no NFL teams, the only Power 5 school in a state, or have a very large alumni base. Some schools that fit this profile that should see a lift>

Big City Power 5 Program with No NFL Team
Texas
Ohio State
Oklahoma (Norman is minutes away from OKC)
NC State
Louisville

Only Power 5 Program in the State
Ohio State
LSU
Wisconsin
Arkansas
Minnesota
West Va.
Nebraska
Maryland
Mizzou

Strongest Alumni Bases
Penn State
Indiana
Michigan
Michigan State
UCLA
Ohio State
Texas A&M
Texas

Many are saying that the big winners in this are Ohio State, Texas, Wisconsin, LSU, and Oklahoma. I could also see the SEC schools doing well where the Program is so strong it can over come a newer NFL team like Florida or the other Power 5 teams in the state are not that strong like Tennessee and UGA.

Universities in nearly a dozen states have said they expect to hold classes on campus in the fall. Schools in at least four states plan to end in-person classes after Thanksgiving.
"This was done to minimize the mass exit and return of students these breaks created," Purdue University in Indiana said in a statement Monday.
Universities are trying to avoid exposing students and faculty to the highly contagious virus through holiday season travel.
"Our best current modeling predicts a spike in cases of Covid-19 at the beginning of December, which also will likely coincide with traditional flu season," said University of South Carolina President Bob Caslen in a message to faculty, staff and students.
Along with South Carolina and Purdue, Creighton University in Nebraska, Rice University in Texas and Notre Dame will also be ending face-to-face classes after Thanksgiving.

Would the season end at Thanksgiving?
