Ellet 2010

B&O,

You're right, give the kid some credit for already signing with a major college. If he graduates from Cuse', he'll be well on his way in life with that degree. Congrats to Tyson and any other kid that gets some of their schooling paid for.

If the kid is THAT great of a player, the colleges will be knocking his door down. THAT is a fact! If he was THAt great, like someone else stated, StV would have found a way to keep him at StV, there is no challenging that either! Tha Bank is not bashing on the kid, and not stating anything that Tha Bank didn't say way back when That Bank started posting on here, Ellet is a team of softies and they still are! If this kid's family has ties to UC, it will be a done deal anyway. UC will be right back where they werre 5 years ago shortly anyway, which doesn't discredit getting a scholarship from there, just stating that Snyder and Kelly were the guys that fit that team at that time, but it will fall back to medicrity soon.

And finally, listen here, and Tha Bank is serious as H-E-double toothpicks with this one!!! If that fool from North is making any attempt to help anyone out to get into college, turn and RUN as fast as you can the OPPOSITE DIRECTION!!!!! That guy at North has done less with more talent than Tha Bank has ever seen! Supposedly had 5-7 D1 players on that team, and how many are getting D1 schollys? NONE! 1 is currently expelled, and his brother would have been expelled but due to his enrollment status is only being suspended. His teams have NO discipline, he runs pee-wee offense, pee-wee defense, talks smack toward the opponent before games, and should have nothing at all to do with high school athletics!

Also, as for the comment from North also said that this kid weas the toughest lineman they went against all year, Tha Bank would believe that coming from him. He doesn't know a freaking thing about football! To prove Tha Bank;s point, look what he has done over there! NOTHING!

Tyson Gulley will do well at Syracuse, and they did pretty well last season, condiering where they were for the few years before that. Why don't you rip on Delone Carter (Copley) for going there, too? They will get excellent educations if they work for them!

Actually looked on Cincy's site at the guys they are recruiting and trying to land and offered, and there in no one from Akron on there. Actually, no one from Ellet on Akron or Kent State's list either. Quit the grand-standing. The kid just is not as good as some may think. Still cracking up at the comment that North's so-called coach is helping him get int oa school!!! Just the thought of that makes Tha Bank crack up!

alls was said was they were talking to him. he doesnt have any big d1 offers, but has been talking with many d2 and d3 colleges as well as some d1AA schools. no need to rip on the kid.

Self Maid,

Tha Bank was not ripping on the kid. Tha Bank stated that this kid was no where near being a big time recruit, because Tha Bank saw several Ellet games this past season and he in no way stood out except for being decently tall. The thing that Tha Bank was ripping on was your comments about how North's "supposed" head coach was trying to help him gets looks from colleges. THAT is funny! If that is the case, the kid will probably be getting some letters from Brown-Mackie College, Remington College, and The Academy of Court Reporting! More than likely, Johnson may very well have bee nthe reason that this kid didn't get any offers!

On the other side of this, Tha Bank hopes the young man can go on to play some ball in college and earn his degree. There is nothing wrong with getting some school paid for while playing some tackle football!

Are they allowing the kids who hazed the QB back to play this year? To have a good Qb like RD you cant let these punks mess a great thing up.

TRUST AND BELIEVE

that I dont think that the funding is going to get pulled because Coach Yost runs the program the right way. I am not saying that the X's and O's are good but he runs the program just like Ellet community wants it. Coach Yost plays the Ellet community athletes that have came up through the Ellet pee-wee system with vert few (if any) open enrollment from other area players taken Ellet players spots. The Ellet coaching staff teaches more then just football but being a young man and responsible for themselves. This goes alot further in life then football will.

We all know who is the biggest booster is...... And I'm just saying if these kids mess with his kid some more I believe heads will start rolling.

met the kid transfering to Springfield the other day at the gym. he is not huge but he is very strong and will look good in red and grey are the flood gates opening?? a couple more of kids like him and Springfield will be an even more serious contender in the PTC metro than they already are!

Kicker from Ellet transferring to STVM? He is currently a junior? Unless the family picks up and moves to another school district, he will sit next yr, per OHSAA regulations.

In warmups last year before a game Tha Bank saw, he nearly kicked an extra point BACKWARDS!!! How is that possible?! Anyway,. good luck to him if he wants to sit out a year. Regardless, this is not much of a "celebratory aquisition" for the Irish.

I'm hearing that there is a mass exodus from Ellet, before the kids are even enrolling into the HS. The 7th and 8th grades kids are finding other schools to attend for their football careers. That means next year will be real thin with talent in the 9th grade.

I heard he might go to Boardman. Or maybe that was another kid.

I think it's safe to say he's going "ANYWHERE ELSE" but Ellet.

What is up at Ellet? Not that they have ever really been a contender year-in and year-out, but they always are supposed to be this tough team every year, and then they just show up with the same vomitous stuff as the previous year. Come on, Joey, update, man! That big weight room was supposed to help you get bigger and stronger. Appears to just make you smaller, weaker, and slower!

This is going to hurt, buuutttt I'm going to have to agree with Irish. There, I said it.

The thing of it is, St V didn't have to recruit the kid, he was looking to get out of Ellet and play for a program that he knew would benefit him. Nothing wrong with that and I'm sure he looked at other programs as well.

Hope the kid has success where ever he goes.
