Doesn't Kammerer play for OU and Re for UC?

Did Hambleton, Harp (basketball?) or Ramsey ever land anywhere? I still find it hard to believe no one wanted Ramsey. Is there more to the story there? There's no doubt he could have played lower level D1 and maybe worked his way onto the field over time for a team like Miami or even UC.

Freeman? Flowers? Gutekunst? Schoster? Voelkerding? Hulen? The 2023s had some solid talent, more than the super 2022s.

I will check OU and UC rosters for Kammerer and Re. I think Hambleton and Ramsey had opportunities, but decided to give up football and focus on school. cincyelder had a good list of players in college in all sports in last year thread. This could be out of date.

The last football super class at Elder was 2020.
I was being sarcastic about the super 2022s

They were all crowned in 7th grade as the super class that would win state in multiple sports and honestly may have had the worst team in recent memory. They were barely .500 (6-6) and probably should have been 4-8 if not for some crazy endings.

Like to see those numbers go up. McKenna, Arnold, Schorsch, and Boeing have D1 offers/committed. There’s several others who have the ability to play in college, but the level is uncertain.

Would say James and Royer are both TBDs. James could end up being the starter but missing spring will hurt him. Likely 2nd team, but starter isn’t out of the question.

Royer is probably a 2a/2b behind returning starter Stover. Split 2nd team with WR turned TE Gee Scott. Royer’s got him on the blocking which is big at OSU for its TEs so he might have a slight edge.

Re is not playing at UC is what I have been told. He was hurt at the end of track season and I am not sure if that played a role.

Lemasters the K from last yr landed at UC, Conner Keyes is at UC too. I heard Chris Kamerer may have hung the cleats up from OU.

2021 Scott Nieman Transferred to Thomas More
2021 Galin Mitchell no longer on Valpo's roster. Status unknown
2020 Connor Keyes Transferred to UC
2020 Luke Kandra Transferred to UC

2021 JT Miller retired from hoops and is finishing his degree.

2024 Tyler Johnson verbally committed to Thomas More Basketball

2024 Jacob Schorsch verbally committed to Miami OH Football

2023 Justin Re Verbally committed to UC Football

Tough card to be dealt at any point in life, but especially so young. Hope he sees the field a ton this season and can reach the potential we probably all think he can.

I have a little bit of an early 10's bias as I didn't follow much after 2016. Was trying to think of the big college commits but I'm sure a bunch of MSJ and Thomas More guys would fit here too.

Matthew Luebbe has to be on the list. He had one of the best seasons running and passing the ball in Elder history, and made it to the State Title game. If he's not 1, he's 2. I don't care if he didn't play in college, that kid was awesome. Peyton Ramsey also has a case.

His 2000 stats is probably the best seasons ever for a QB at Elder? Strong case for QB1 in the 2000s and possibly best ever at Elder?

3,100 yards passing
1,700 yards rushing
44 TDs
67% Completion %
State Runner-Up

2020 is not the 2010s but yes he would need to be in the discussion with Ramsey and Miller if you were including 2020 for some reason.
