DI Canton District Tournament Bracket, Seed Voting, Discussion

The NEDAB is doing it the same as last year. Bracket is placement automatically tied to the seedings:

BRACKET PLACEMENT:
Team are placed on the bracket in the number on the bracket that corresponds to the place that the team is in the voting matrix. The numbers run from 1 to the number of teams participating in the tournament. The number 1 ranked team goes on the blank line marked "1", the number 2 ranked team goes on the blank line marked "2" and so on.
The Sunday district draw meeting is now eliminated. However, there will be a meeting for the home site managers to meet with their district tournament manger to review tournament responsibilities. Your tournament manager will give you the date, time and location of this meeting.

With 11 teams in the draw, the top 5 should have byes with seeds 6 through 11 meeting in the 1st round to cut the 2nd round field down to 8 teams.

DI Canton should look like this:
Top Half
1. GlenOak (bye)
8. Perry vs. 9. Massillon on 2/16, winner plays @ GlenOak in sectional final on 2/21

4. Green (bye)
5. Louisville (bye), Green vs. Louisville in sectional final on 2/21
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Bottom Half
2. Hoover (bye)
7. Kenmore-Garfield vs. 10. Marietta on 2/16, winner plays @ Hoover in sectional final on 2/21

3. Jackson (bye)
6. Lake vs. 11. Ellet on 2/16, winner plays @ Jackson in sectional final on 2/21

Halftime: GlenOak 29, Hoover 26

GlenOak starts the 3rd quarter with a 5-0 run and a Hoover player picked up her 3rd foul.

GlenOak up 8 with 3 minutes remaining in the game, and playing keep away.

54-43...GlenOak is going to get their first District title in a very long time....congrats!
