My personal favorite is a little known exception (need to hire an attorney) if you transfer from a private coed school to a private all male school that counts as a "change in academic" environment or something . . . Moe has used this recently.

Yep, usually all it takes is a little sabre rattling and OHSAA goes away. They don't have the resources to fight it

An easy way to avoid state restricting transfers is to claim the previous schools had racial problems with the involved player

Coaching Basketball and Parents trusting him are 2 different things. Some Parents believe everything they hear

Deer Park has had a lot of COVID cases effecting students and staff. The whole football team is in quarantine along with about 40% of the freshman class. The JR/SR High school has gone full remote till the 9th hence the no athletics till they go back to a hybrid system on the 9th.

I think there is something to this - having to actually play kids that are really from Deer Park could cause significant stress and heart issues, better to just resign.

Yes. Those first try-outs with Deer Park kids nearly killed him.

Sad, sad mockery of the system but the system (ohsaa) allowed it so now im sure some of the fellow league schools are ready to extract a little revenge but unfortunately it will be against the wrong people.
