Somewhat interesting news out of Lancaster: FC to get a second junior high school.


Beginning in the fall of 2027, Fisher will have incoming freshmen from St. Bernadette School. St B’s will be adding seventh grade this upcoming year, and eighth grade in ‘26-27.

What it means for football, football in R27 (lol)… either FC stays the same, or resurgence is indeed in the air. This is a big step forward, in my opinion, for Fisher on all sides.

Same track as Gage Lotozo (Rosecrans -> Crooksville.)

He did a considerable amount for FCA. I imagine he prob gave them an idea of who his successor should be on the football side. That part might be easier to knock out than finding a successor AD.

The 3-3-5 defense worked at FCA. Why not work at Crooksville. I agree, a good hire. Just surprised he left FCA
 
Crooksville's non conference games go from Fisher, Southern and Berne this past season to Newcomerstown and Buckeye Trail next season plus they play River View.

Better facilities at Crooksville, chance to build a bigger roster, and in the MVL small school so not a terrible schedule, even though it will be more difficult than what he faced last few years league wise.

Makes more sense looking deeper at it. The pieces are there for Crooksville. The MVL small school just seems more brutal every year.

I will say this though, The AD's office at Crooksville is pretty awesome(at least it was when Rupe was there). It's in the gym above the stands and has a window to the gym. Pretty big office as well.

The post-Village Park facility that football plays at today is also quite nice.

The more I think about it, this is a big loss for the Cardinal in general.
