D7 R25 2025

Mogadore has to be one of the favorites in the region.

Keep laughing. Kennedy is coming back. And all you haters will see it. Coach is doing a fine job. Sure Jaws your Irish are on the top, but they're not DVII. And obviously they can't hang with the big boys. TCC will crush Ursuline every year. Sorry but true. And believe me I'm an Irish fan, but at the end of the day they're not that good. They'll get there then collapse. Just like anyone in DVII teams will get there, then comes MSML. Lights out.

It's like you're drunk tweeting or something. Kennedy lost a ton of seniors last year. They will make the playoffs and will probably win a couple of games in this region. Honestly they could possibly be one of the top 3 or 4 teams but this region is now silly. Its the region 27 of the past. Whoever wins it will get smoked the next week.

As far as Ursuline getting "crushed" by TCC, you know we lost by 1 point right? In fact we missed a field goal at the buzzer that would of won the game. Not sure what definition of "crushed" is but you might want to put the glass down and check Websters.

"they're not that good".......lol🤡

Good take. They should still be relatively successful this year but it will be tougher sledding with what they lost in that senior class. They do have some talented underclassmen that will hopefully make a jump this season.

Depth is the biggest issue with the Eagles. They have some really god skill guys and a couple of good linemen but if someone goes down the drop off is real. The backups are very young and very inexperienced. The benefits of the region being down is you can get a couple of wins with inexperience and get the young guys ready for the future.

I'm rooting for the Crestline-Symmes Valley match up lol
We made a 3 hr 45 minute ride last year to the Ohio River to play Manchester for a regular season game. In the pouring rain. Very nice people. Ugly game.

We’re hoping for the best this year, dont sleep on the Bulldogs though, rock bottom is a hell of a foundation to build from.

Doesn’t seem like any of those schools are firing on all cylinders…but with the make up of the region you could be right. One thing that may help is if the ohsaa goes back to 8 teams…I think McDonald has a chance at being better than most of the teams above.
I'm rooting for McDonald in R25. Let's gooooooooooooo!

Been gone for a while. Told my wife last year I’m going to hold my breath until R25 is great again. Long story short she found me unconscious and I just woke up from a coma. Now it’s worse.
Imagine if this was the region in the glory days? Makes me shudder to think about it.

Playing backups 2nd half every game until state semi
Yep. That's exactly what Ursuline did last year except for the Aurora game and I can attest that while it is awesome to win playoff games like that, it is not fun. You end up realizing how cold and wet you are. Lol

St. Paul played five or so senior starters on a team that went from 0-3 to 6-4 and hosting a playoff game following a stunning win over 9-0 Monroeville. Health/depth has been a serious issue there for about 3-4 years now, it feels like. Monroeville will still be real solid, but not to the level of last year, obviously.

Agree with the others, Warren JFK, St. Paul/Monroeville, BCWR/Mogadore/McDonald. Would be surprised if it's anyone else out of those 4-to-6 teams in the R25 title game?

If the 2025 season were a horse race, I would box the St. Henry - Hillsdale exacta and hammer it. It's possible that a 50-1 long shot like Marion Local could get a miraculous rail skimming ride like Mine That Bird in the 2009 Kentucky Derby, so I may throw $10 their way just for the hell of it.

Both of those programs have a lot of athletes returning this season. Though for completely different reasons, they both also have major chips on their shoulders also.
