How would playoff brackets look if we used my WP+ resume rankings (similar to NCAA football "strength of record" or March Madness "wins above bubble") to select & seed the teams? Let's take 8 teams per region in D1 and 12 in the other regions (so just under half of the teams). A team must win...

I like that too. Look at some of the regions and the teams in the playoffs. R27 has 5 teams with only 3 wins. Only 8 of R27 have a winning record! Other divisions have teams in the playoffs with 2 wins. "Yay, we made the playoffs"!Alternative playoff selection/seeding model

Here’s a tip for you: print the playoff matchups off, go through the ones that look like chalk and get those in first. It’s 224 games this week, so it won’t be great trying to pick them all at once.
There’s a handful of landmines this week. Won’t be able to avert them all, just have to minimize the trip-ups.
224/224 and a new leader come next week out of DAL-tin.
