D7 R25 2024

I have a VERY hard time believing these 2 squads ever played before. I cant see East Palestine scheduling an out of conference private school with JFKs pedigree. EP has only made the playoffs in the Joe Eitel era IIRC and these 2 arent listed as meeting
As for the game, Palestine has a tough running QB who was on the cusp of 2K yards this year, depending on his week 10 stats. But Palestine cannot play defense even with a court order. If JFK is relatively healthy their 1st string wont punt. The Eagles should have little to no trouble beating a one man gang
Only reason EP is in the playoffs, like a bunch of other schools, is because the OHSAA got greedy for money. We all know 1 plays 16 and on down the line. Early exits and embarrasment for a bunch of schools.
As for playing JFK, no they haven't, but for information EP did play private schools in OOL back when they were in the old D3 in the 5 division set up. Funny how things changed here, now D7. QB Jurjavcic is a beast, a Big 22 contender like Bourne who plays line and DB, both are well over 200 lbs. Guess we will see Friday.

I get it. Lucas vs Whiteford last week was tough to watch. We ran into a brick wall all night and kept running. No deviation. Ugh.
It was tough to watch. That was as close to a Rugby match as it can get. The analogy "fight in a phone booth" couldn't be more fitting.

Dnis you have nothing to say about Malvern vs Lucas this year I will say there is about 10 other teams in this region I'd rather play but I think the Hornets will be okay

I think Drew's line is pretty close. We are an underdog, but we are dangerous. If we control the line of scrimmage, we could pull the upset.
What has been killing us all year is giving up the big play. If we can somehow limit those, and force a couple of punts, it could be close.

I'm thinking about making the trip. That school is in the middle of nowhere.

Which is a shame because Lucas surprised me with their throwing ability in last years playoff game against Dalton. Really thought that was a great wrinkle they could rely on!

This is factual - Malvern is about as BFE as you can get. Just odd and funny hearing it from a LUCAS guy......who's school is also in the middle of nowhere lol

I don't mind the commitment to the run. If they can't stop it, by all means, keep it rolling. But when you spend an entire half of football
run, run, run, punt...ya need to mix it up a bit. You have to at least have the threat of throwing a pass.

Sorry Dock for my offensive comments, but you've always been an a-hole. When you win then you can talk sh^$. Until then shut up.
Nice job not tagging me or replying to it, lol, in the hope I wouldn’t see it. I may be an a-hole, but I don’t run from what I say on here.

The point is you know damn well Kennedy could be in the same boat if the worst set of circumstances happened.

Not sure what this “when you win…” comment has anything to do with, either. I believe what’s being discussed is found in the Gospel of Matthew — you know, the whole idea of not calling innocent kids punks. Pretty sure chapter 7 of that good book gives good reasoning not to.

I've lived here my whole life so I'm partial but being 20 minutes from the pro football HOF is far from BFE
If we make the trip, give me a spot to hit pregame for a drink/bite to eat. It doesn't have be in Malvern,
but on the way. Here is that route we may be taking...
