Kennedy is very much improved and will end up a top 4 seed but don't kid yourself, the region stinks. Two games tell the tale for the Eagles, Labrae and Rootstown. The Eagles lost one and struggled with the other, both bullied them along the lines. Both teams are not good. Liberty is faster than most of the region but they stink. Garfield has figured it out and might just win in a rematch. Kennedy will probably win a couple of rounds fairly easily. They may even make it to the regional finals, but that isn't the accomplishment that it has been in the recent past.
Teams like Monroeville and McDonald, wing-t teams, will give the Eagles trouble. Labrae went to a modified T in the second half and just rammed the ball down their throat. It will be interesting to watch but I wouldn't bevto hyped over the Eagles just yet.
Kennedy has the athletes to win it, but do they have the physicality? This region is no where close to being as physical as it used to be but there are still a few teams that are. Hillsdale plays in a very, very physical conference, so they are by default. Lucas , though down, still plays a physical brand of football. I already mentioned McDonald and Monroeville as having offenses that can give them fits. The best way to beat speed is to run right at it. It will be interesting to see how this plays out. Seeding is going to be key.Very good analysis Jaws. You put things in prespective. I sometimes get too happy with the Eagles. But I do think they can win this region. Now after that who knows. Hey at least their coach doesn't have a black eye lol.
Labrae sucks. So does Liberty.Yeah region 25 is loaded for sure. Just keep writing Kennedy off. I mean we haven't played anybody. We shall see. Garfield sucked? Labrae sucks? Lol. Liberty will out run any team in the region. But hey what do I know? Lol. we'll see you big boys in the playoffs.
The ghost of “the scoreboard” has returned, and he has blessed my people, and their badly banged up team, tonight. @carnholio @Hoist the Black @trimblefootball @danville96
It was 28/00 I believe through 3. Not as close as final indicates.

I don’t know the whole story, but my understanding (via grapevine) was QB1’s injury vs FCA didn’t have a great timetable. Supposedly he did play tonight, gritting and hearting through the injury.Lot of heart in the Irish

Just got home so I’ll watch the IVP replay on the big screen.
That, alone, is enough of a beauty to placate me irrevocably screwing myself by picking SG (I just saw the final was 13-12)
edit: watching it now. I forgot those BU jerseys have to get retired after this year with the new NFHS rules.

Lol olschool, can't blame me for trying.Labrae sucks. So does Liberty.
Sinclair is writing that Blair government textbook. They ain't the smartest bunch, being down the road from the Tiger 'men'. Smile. Is iHeart or Sinclair writing the Bellaire American government textbook?
The sad part is that Windham is an actual contender in this version of the region.View attachment 67179
R25 Contenders!
I mean... I wouldn't classify a contender as someone outside the top 5 let alone top 10 probably. The sad part is that Windham is an actual contender in this version of the region.
Windham is an actual contender
Looks like Lucas and MalvernOne more regular season game then...

And Lucas has a young, inexperience secondary. Malvern might get some payback for the last time they met. I don't think we'll see many first and second round upsets this year, compared to last. The top 4-5 have done significantly better than the rest.Looks like Lucas and Malvern

I disagree with them beating someone, Eye is a player but that's all they got. St John's had them on the ropes. Drew shows the probable matchup of 8/9 Windham v Southern. I've seen them both, it would be close but I'd bet on Southern.Windham wont win the region but they will beat someone that people might not expect them to beat. I was bored at work one night and was watching some games. Jack Eye might be one of the better players in the region. Big, tough, fast and a load to bring down. The region stinks as we all know outside of 1 or 2 teams so they have an outside shot of winning a couple of games in the tourney.
P.S. I hate Windham with every fiber in my being, so it makes me ill to admit they aren't terrible but I gotta be honest.
Be a sight to see the wagons rolling into Liberty. I didn't realize this was a distinct possibility. If JFK loses, they might be playing Lucas.
Btw, have you seen St. Johns FB? Dude's a guard running with the ball. LolI disagree with them beating someone, Eye is a player but that's all they got. St John's had them on the ropes.
