Loudonville came to Athens county this past season for the NY Buckeyes. Very, very good game.

Loudonville is on the rise again. They used to be quite the smalls school powerhouse.

Mistakes killed them. If I remember correctly they threw an int with a minute left and Nelsonville drove down and scored with 10 seconds left. They brought a lot of fans. Fun game.

I mean....technically route 30 runs through Canton....sooooooo if we want to talk about state routes and good football....
Dalton, Canton McKinley, Massillon, Perry, Jackson, Mansfield Senior, Wooster, I'll even throw in Hillsdale.....
just saying.....and the nice part is all of these schools have electricity and indoor plumbing!

When they're good, those fans do travel very well. They went to the title game at Massillon back in the late 80s (?) and the story goes they had a caravan of solid red on route 30 from Wooster to Massillon

Interesting. In the playoffs towards the Zanesville area and that way we had 3-4 mile long caravans. We always travel well. We even traveled well this year and went 3-7.
