What? Only 7 0f top 9 from NE Ohio? Close losses at 112 and 119 kept Perry from a shot at the team championship. Good luck to the Panthers the rest of the way.

Lighten up Francis.

I know Perry had almost no chance of winning the team championship, just stating that those two close losses sealed the deal. If Perry would have won both of them they would still be alive, not in the lead but within reach.

St. Ed's is now a lock and Perry will battle the Grizzlies for 2nd. Ed's is easily the best team this year and will be a heavy favorite for several years.
 
ST Eds is the winner this year, they have a very strong team and return it's entire lineup. However the Panther only graduate 3, return 11 and have 3-4 wrestlers on the b team that would have made it to at least district if not state. Also the Jr high team has 3-4 wrestlers that may break into the varsity next season. It was a great year and next season should be even better, great job by all the wrestlers in Ohio, once again they proved Ohio has the best wrestling!

The problem there is that Eds graduates 0 this year. Sorry no chance of taking down Ed's this year or next year. Unfortunate for Perry, there team is great, the timing is bad.
 
They will be tough to beat next year 88, but the Panthers will be very good along with the Grizzlies. It will come down to who trains harder in the off season! The Panthers best shot will come in the next 2 seasons.

10 guys in the top 5 at States this year and none graduate. Plus a district 5th (Heffernan) and a 2X State Qualifer, FILA Champ, who was a Projected Champion by Brakeman (VanCuren) who also return.

Next year will be quite the task for anyone to knock them off.
 
No doubt george, they will be the number 1 in the country at the start of the season, but anyone can be beat at anytime.
