Speak to the FACTS, Moore just started putting together his program. The national championship is NOW solely the realm of the NATIONAL all-star teams and Hoban is further away from being competitive with them, than we are from winning a state championship.

Probably one of premier all-star team coaches of all-time, is a prime example of their place as a coach and his ilk. When Gerry Faust DIDN"T have an overwhelming advantage because of talent and was being beat soundly, at his first game at Notre Dame, the announcers were heard to say, "He's running a HS offense." You know where he ended up and the accurate assessment of his ability, don't you?!

Nick Saban yearly has the top recruiting class in the country and very seldom isn't in the finals of the playoffs.

The praochial / private all-star teams are light yrs. ahead of public who know better than to NOT buy into the stupidity, that people like you, try to sell, when we are evening the playing field. Their multi-state / county teams, number of players from outside a traditional school district don't count but ours tarnishes our 24 state and 9 national championships! NOT!

Why don't you try to sell that same garbage about Rockne, Wilkinson, Bryant and Hayes, FOOL.

Our tradition is legitimate as is our titles and records.
Show us on the doll where the paper championships hurts the most.

In all seriousness though do people in this thread think Massillon should think about moving on from Nate Moore? Had plenty of chances to get it done now and hasn’t won the big one. Any thoughts ?
No. Nate has gotten the program to where it is now. Think back to the previous coaches, we're they competing for a state championship every year like Massillon is now? Did those previous coaching staffs own McKinley?
Hoban is a great team. No shame in losing to them. A lot of good teams have lost to them the last 6-8 years.
Go Tigers!!

Anyone suggesting Nate Moore has worn out his welcome is just goofy. Nates biggest weakness however may be his loyalty. It won't happen but in my opinion it may be time to find new safety and corner coaches. I realize to stop a kid as good as Sperling you need total run support but how many times this year have we seen a receiver or....receivers (plural) running wide open in the secondary? Hoban is a great team and I think they still win but imagine not having to dig out of a 14-0 hole early (for I think the third time this season) if your safeties are where they're supposed to be.
Agree with everything said but you left out the most important part of the equation, Moore and his wife make anywhere between 200-300 K between them per year so he's not leaving anytime soon for some college gig unless he's named HC or a Coordinator position

I beg to differ on that. I'd say Pickerington Central and Colerain are the best public contenders, usually.

Was speaking of D2. Not sure about D1 anymore besides PC. Mentor was close for awhile. Happy to see Springfield have the season they’ve having, but St. Ed looks awfully good.

First of all "between 200-300 k" is a large gap.

Secondly....OF COURSE....are you gonna give up your managerial position at Taco Bell to take a lesser position at Burger King?

Wow, when you compare Hoover and Massillon, it's pretty much a...."one way street."

I believe Big Red dumped Massillon on their heads the last time they played...running clock style.
How many times have you posted this? That was 7 years ago. Since that time, the Tigers have attempted to play the Big Red, at every football level, but were unsuccessful. Why? The games would not be competitive now, and if you were honest, would agree.

Well for one thing Kempt moved to Stark County from Oregon. He came to Massillon his brother went to Jackson to play baseball. Of course the Fed cartel considered the brother a homegrown kid.
As usual, that's PART of the story.

The Kempt family moved to Jackson Township in 2009/2010 when Mr. Kempt, an executive with Diebold, transferred from Oregon to corporate headquarters near Canton-Akron Airport. Kyle played football at Massillon. His brother, Jake, played football and baseball at Jackson. (He was on the 2014 State Championship baseball team.) Jake went on to play football at the University of Dayton.

So 7 years ago was a long time ago but 51 years isn't? I post it and will continue to post it because it hurts you. Just a side note, our 1st state championship in 1984 was in D2.

Enough of the faux outrage.

It seems more like they're hurting the anti Massillon crowd the most. You guys seem to be the ones mad and displaced by the "paper championships"
right as usual. Gosh when will we get back to the good old days, when champions were picked by the polls rather than the artificial method used today. The playoff system has been proven invalid by the fact that in 51 years Massillon has never won a championship.

Why don’t you answer the questions? We know why, your Little Red would be soundly defeated like they did in 87% of the games the teams have played.
