“We know what they bring to the table,” Bauer said. “They have a lot of talent, a lot of capabilities and are super big competitors. That will make the game very entertaining. We are all good buddies still and we still keep in contact. It will be a fun time playing against those guys again. It will be a little different, but that is just how it worked out.”

OSU got a guy in 2021 from Australia, #4 punter in his class. I don't see the Massillon guy on 247's page but they also only have 12 total punters. That said, Massillon kid's numbers are impressive. I know nothing about the guy from Australia other than he's from a literal academy that was started to put former rugby players into college football, but if they are close to equal would have preferred to see the Ohio kid in the OSU uniform. Best of luck to him in his future endeavors.

? . Why would they even consider this for the d2 game? He has to be joking, right? If they need to avoid the Franklin county stay at home advisory Massillon would be a great location, but play d2 at the drip.

Pk and punter recruiting is far different...harder to track than a top ten cb..

Sounds like the coaches agree with the sentiment here that this is going to be a low scoring defensive battle.

great Massillon now gets another Home game for state how much did they pay the OHSAA
Remember in 04’ mck played the D1 title game at home and got beat by Colerain 50-10.

I don't like it for d2, if true. However, I'm sure the cost was the community hosting 6 games on super short notice at the right price.

Guess you ll need to take that up with the State.
Helps to have an army of volunteers available at a moment's notice. Canton doesn't. It won't go to Benson.
