Critical Race Theory

Mainly you and couple of others.......mostly you though.
I’ve never described it that way. Plus, I can think of a dozen ways that are better attention getters than an internet board but if that’s all you got, I guess it could work.

Great, glad you've found Yappi to be a way to get attention....

You are one sick, delusional dude. I’ll repeat. CRT is only in the news to fire up the Trump base. Of course, you fell for it. When the midterms are over discussion of it will vanish.
Huh. IVC is one of the more stable and insightful posters in here.

Just so you realize - you are wiping your butt with your own credibility when you type stuff like ^that.

A quick look at his post history by anyone shows this. The guy constantly makes excuses for the democrats and spews their talking points. This guy is a complete fraud
He's just a troll. DerpV1 is as fungible as dementia Joe's teleprompter.

Not sure why you guys care about letting him "get the last word in" when his words are meaningless

The details here are easy to miss but the response reveals their true nature: they believe all there is to society is power and oppression (Marxian ideas) and their mission lies on those lines - they don't want to end power and oppression, they want to reverse it in their favor and those who oppose them are only there to maintain their own power and position as oppressors. This is a far more appeal attempt at "equality" and "social justice" for the power-hungry than what created much of the Civil Rights movements that they masquerade as being an extension or continuation of. This is why they cling to hard to the past and shut down all paths to true unity and reconciliation. That would end their game
well said

Did he emancipate the Slaves of the South? NO
Did he release his slaves? Eventually
Did he give Slaves citizenship and the right to vote? NO
Did he add language to the DoI to keep slaves? YES
Did he sleep with his female slaves and have children? YES
Was he the King of Americaland ? NO

You do understand that Slavery was real? It is written into the Constitution. Black Americans could not vote and the civil right movement was in the 1960's?
And you dont understand that slavery was defended by Democrats.

THIS!!!^

"Fundamental Change"
means very different things in front of different audiences if you are a Democrat.

The loose alliance between old Demturds trying to hold power, black racists, myopic woke dolts, socialists in search of their impossible paradise, and corporatists seeking a coup all hope to end up with the reins themselves, but this thing only ends one way if we don't preserve The Republic.

Most boomers remaining as Dems have been playing with fire so long they are now blinded.
They let BLM and Antifa loose to get rid of Trump and now foolishly think they can put the genie back in the bottle.

He is not talking about me In that post. I no longer identify as Republican.

It's been around for about 50 years and it's application has not materially changed. The difference is that old aggrieved MAGA men just read about it on Breitbart or some other propaganda site and are scared and threatened. You fell for it hook, line, and sinker.
It's amazing how naive you are.

And you dont understand that slavery was defended by Democrats.
and you do not understand history and the realignment of the political parties after the civil rights act. Frankly you are embarrassing yourself if you think todays GOP is the party of Lincoln or the North. Just look at the demographics and the map. Look who has confederate flags at their rallies. The dixiecrats are now GOP and states like Mass. are solid blue states.

Read up. Happy to help.

All of which has nothing to do with 2021. To listen to these race dividers today youd think there are still black and white swimming pools and people in chains.

There is equal opportunity for everyone. What you do with it determines the outcome. We will never have equal outcomes among individuals, to believe it is possible is to ignore human nature.

CRT is not taught in middle school. You just made that up. Public school curriculum is public. Show me the curriculum. It should easily be available on the school website. Otherwise, you are just another lying BS artist.
It doesnt have to be called CRT to achieve the desired result. Hide it behind euphemisms.

A rose is still a rose by any other name.

Yes we have made progress and we do offer equal opportunity for everyone without erasing progress like in Tulsa (and Cincinnati) This is the progress some are attempting to undo....you don't have to go back to far to see some of the things you mention. Seperate but equal was a whole chapter that last well into the 60's.

Although we are not perfect, in regard to race and opinions about race, we are living in the best of times; our nation is not recognizable as the place where segregation ruled throughout the South as recently as the 1960s. And I should know, as a Black man who has lived his entire life in the South.

And yet, at a time when Americans have never been more united about the evils of slavery, Democrats are working overtime to keep race ideology alive and well.

Most recently, this life support for race ideology comes in the form of critical race theory, which aims to shine light on America's infamous history of racism. But the fact of the matter is, beyond what for some is a noble aim, critical race theory is big business, and it's provided valuable political capital to Democrats wishing to keep Black Americans believing in the omnipresence of racism.

Through CRT, we're already seeing the next generation of children being indoctrinated, though not through sensible reform or progressive policy. Lesson plans have been emerging which teach our children to see themselves through their skin tones and indoctrinating them to view history as well as American jurisprudence not as it is or was, but from a perspective that is centered strictly around their race.

There was a huge difference between Reagan & HW Bush on taxes.

The only thing the Bushes saw in Trump was a man who destroyed their carefully planned dynastic promotion of Jeb!

The FBI wasn't responsible for January 6 but they played a disturbing role before, during and after that event.

So what exactly are the "incredibly stupid concepts coming from today's GOP"? Do you mean being against an open southern border? Or are you talking about trying to level the economic playing field with China? Or maybe you don't like a merit based immigration policy? Or is it the new republican reluctance to nation build all over the world? Or do you want higher taxes? Be specific before throwing out how stupid the "concepts" are.

I'm not embarrassed in the least by today's GOP. The CRT debate is an essential battle ground for the future of America. How is it "stupid" to actively oppose this racist, progressive garbage?

Oh and fighting CRT is also good politics. In my book that's a win/win. Or are you one of those "republicans" who doesn't like to win elections? You know the kind that's more interested in selling books and filling cruise ships.
Under Reagan social security taxes went up ,excise taxes went up (gas, cigarettes), estate taxes went up. In fact after Reagan’s memorable 1981 tax cuts, taxes went up in other ways every year he was in office. Still I definitely appreciated his income tax cuts. HW was concerned about the deficit. I wish we were today.

LOL. Are these more political plants like Fox News. These parents don't understand CRT or what is being taught in schools. They did probably get paid to participate.

Nope, actually came from Newsweek via MSN......and the author is black. You calling him a liar? Racist....

Saved you the time on checking...

It is an OP-ED...this means it is the authors opinion. It actually says that at the bottom of the article. Also newsweek is a shell of its former self...bought by PE now resorting to click bait for eyeballs. (admittedly bothsides)

The author is a black man who has lived in the South his entire life...maybe read the article and learn what a black person not your white liberal guilt thinks about CRT. Or are going to suppress the black man's view? I mean the election is over, don't you usually abandon them after elections?

OK. Don't call it CRT. Just show me the curriculum that you find objectionable.

For God's sake, quite with the spinning world salad of BS. You clearly said CRT was creeping into middle and high school and then immediately exampled with a story about a "guy" spewing CRT propaganda as some kind of evidence. I don't care if he was a unit principal or whatever. I would have no idea what his stupid position is because you refuse to give any specifics. How you can deny doing it is hilarious. It is in the thread you lying sack.

"I never said a high school unit principal being forced out equated to it creeping into middle school."

"Not just colleges either. Has definitely infiltrated middle and high schools. My school had a guy forced to resign recently when the crt propaganda he was spreading came out and the parents fought it. Glad my school has common sense"
Creeping in doesnt necessarily mean it's an approved part of the curriculum, hes saying teachers indoctrinated in CRT are now relaying that indoctrination to young students.

Its arguing semantics.
