Seeing if anyone has been following the Scots basketball season thus far. They started out hot this year, unfortunately dropping a game to Babson last week. Mostly due to a cold shooting night.

Playing Wittenburg this Saturday. We'll see if they can start another streak beating their arch rival.

About as big of a rivalry as exists at the D3 level; believe these are still the two winningest programs of all-time at this level.

Wooster is probably going to dust them (judging by the Mt. Union and Case Western wins). Wittenberg seems to be okay at best this year, albeit they’ve had a fairly difficult schedule so far. Between the coaching change and the general malaise they’ve seemed to have had the last few years, I doubt they are better than the 3rd or 4th best team in that league.

I agree. I think Wooster is going to handle them pretty easily. The tougest competition that Wooster might see in the NCAC this year may be Denison.

I remember the days of that Wittenburg rivalry in the old Timken Gymnasium at Wooster with the wooden seats, and there wasn't a seat to be had in the entire place. Stop at Mom's Truck stop on campus and get one of their legendary chicken filet sandwhiches and head to the game.
