The Tigers are starting to turn into more of a physical team Thanks to Coach Mac Stephen's off season training at his training facility, they seem to be much faster, stronger on the offensive line and the defense is flowing to the ball. One game does not make a season however,Hoover has a very good and well Coach team but Heights has a lot of speed and the new members to the secondary sophomore Enthan Golden #21 from Brooklyn and and Senior transfer Jemel Lewis #13 from Georgia who has offers from Tennessee and Georgia Tech made their presence felt and the linebackers led by Travail Wright made their tackles felt.

Tigers are at home Friday against Garfield Heights all they can do now is just improve every single game from the first game and they might just make a little bit of noise in the playoffs.

Folks in NEO have been waiting for Heights to break through for decades. They have had plenty of athletes come through the halls including some solid FBS talent but they have never been able to bust through the Ed's/Iggy/Mentor ceiling and this year you add Medina and the best QB in the state and a rock solid Stow into Region 1 equation. The schedule is weak and I could see the Tigers go undefeated only to be seeded in the 4-8 range and have an earlier that expected match up against one of those above teams.
