Cleveland Browns 2025 Edition

Again, you are far too emotional. To think Case Keemun is the answer is wishful thinking. There is a reason why the Browns are what they are for the last 3+ decades. “Cool facts” are what they are - facts.
You are an absolute clown. Stop deflecting, troll. Go to the Yinzer thread, cry about your crappy draft, and wait for Rodgers to sign.

No one said that Case Keenum was the answer to anything other than the question, "Who should be the QB while our QB with the rotational delivery can't keep the ball down while wearing the brace on his off shoulder?", you goof. You can't be this stupid. The real answer was wait for Baker to heal. Kevin gambled on Baker's certain failure playing hurt to provide him with an upgrade at QB. He got Watson. He and the rest of that "braintrust" deserved Watson, because they scheme like bitches instead of drawing the line at respect for the game and the fans. "Smartest guys in the room" fail.

Some cool facts are not germane. Yours, here, are not.

Mr Diamonds Draft grades : Steelers C , Bengals B ,Ravens B-,Browns A-
Saw one analysis that gave the Browns a D. I have to see if I can find it.

* Did a quick goggle search as expected grades are over the place so basically meaningless.
* Fox Sports had Browns graded C-
* Kiper rated Browns A+ ( apparently REALLY likes Sanders)
* Sports Illustrated..Steelers A, Browns A-, Ravens B, Bengals D- (lol)
* USA Today Steelers B+, Ravens B, Bengals C, Cleveland I (incomplete) lol

After the fourth pick made, I'd give the Browns' draft a D-

Hopefully the UDFA make up for the QB derp. Once they picked Gabriel, Sanders' should have been forgotten. Too many needs for 2 QB flyers, much less trading up and surrendering picks to be stupid.

You are all over the place. If Baker had stayed in Cleveland, he never would become the player he is today.

The QB circus stays in Cleveland with the addition of Sanders. That is just another ‘cool fact’ and you will be front row to experience it.

Getting the 2026 Jaguars 1st rd pick was the biggest win of this years draft. Next year has some solid qb prospects.

These guys look pretty excited about the Sanders pick.

It would be interesting to see where all of these "experts" projected Sanders draft position.

That is absolutely absurd. No one can say that with any degree of certainty. You’re not all over the map, you’re consistently a clown.

Like I said, you are just here to troll. Go back to the Yinzer thread.

No need to state the obvious, except to put a splint on your credibility

Kevin: "How in the HELL am I gonna run practices with two rookie QBs that everyone needs to see, Flacco, who I want to start, and Pickett, who needs to be ready as my backup?"
Kevin and Andrew: "I thought we were through with the media circus. but, thanks to Jimmy,,,,send in the clowns."

why do you think he wouldn't have become the player is today if he stayed with the Browns?

Bakers journey and the people/players/organization would have been different.
* Baker was traded by Cleveland to Carolina for a 5th round pick. A large part was because Baker was on his 5th year rookie deal at $18.9 mil and not too many teams were willing to take that contract on even though it was only for 1 year. Still, 5 years prior he was the #1 overall pick and then he was traded to one of the few teams worse than Cleveland for a bag of chips. This was the beginning of the road of being humbled.
* 7 games (1-5 as a starter) into his Carolina stay Baker was cut per his request. Rock bottom of humble road.
* Signs with the Rams on a Tuesday and played for them on Thursday Night football & won the game. Baker would finish 1-3 as a starter for the Rams but that 1/2 season under McVey definitely helped him. In the interview after the Thursday night game Baker was definitely humbled, appreciative of his opportunity with the Rams and just seemed at peace with himself. This was the beginning of the comeback.
* Baker’s play in Tampa Bay has proved that he is a solid top 10-14 starting NFL qb. Having gone through this journey and humbling experience has helped Baker get to where he is today. Tampa Bay being a well run organization over the last 10 years or so helps as well. Having HOF wr Mike Evans & Chris Godwin doesn’t hurt either.

If Baker was not traded to carolina the relationship with him & the Browns organization and coaching staff (Stefanski) was strained at best.

With a crowded quarterback room, the Cleveland Browns are declining a $22.117 million fifth-year option salary for quarterback Kenny Pickett in 2026 according to Cleveland.com reporter Mary Kay Cabot.

Now, Pickett is scheduled for free agency in 2026 and owed a fully guaranteed $2.62M in 2025.

...and it makes it easier to trade him if they decide to do so.

I'm also going by his stats in Cleveland which weren't to bad, he did grow up a bit the past couple years, otherwise he would be out of football at this point... but i also feel that Cleveland was no way free of any blame also in this maturity problem... plus they got a POS WR named OBJ< that helped divide the locker room.

Agreed. He was not the entire problem. They could have won with Baker. They'd certainly win now with Baker. Instead, they casted him aside for a pervert with obvious legal issues that hadn't played in a year, was facing a suspension, didn't want to come to Cleveland in the first place and had quit on his former team.

Browns sign another controversial receiver, former Steeler Diontae Johnson.

Berry must hate Stefanski.

Baker is going to have a great year They got a replacement for Godwin and some more help. The Vanilla Midget is going to light it up.

hopefully they have improved their pass protection too!! if I read it right, he has gotten sacked 40 times last year and the year before also... i mean those aren't Tim couch type sack numbers, but still alot...

Toney, then Johnson. And Berry is supposed to be smart?

Cleveland will be the fourth team that Johnson has been on in a year. He began last season with Carolina before being traded to Baltimore in late October. Johnson — who led the Panthers with 30 receptions and 357 receiving yards at the time of the trade — had only one catch in four games for the Ravens when he refused to enter a Dec. 1 contest against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Johnson was suspended one game and then waived by the Ravens on Dec. 21. He was claimed by Houston and had three receptions, including one for 12 yards in the Texans' wild-card playoff win over the Chargers.

Johnson, though, was waived shortly after that game as Houston coach DeMeco Ryans said it didn't work out. Johnson was then claimed by Baltimore, but the Ravens did that in order to possibly get a compensatory pick in the 2026 draft.

Low risk moves.

Take chance on risky guys with talent and if it doesn't work out you cut them. Don't need an ivy league degree to understand the strategy here

Low risk for Berry. He doesn't take responsibility for the locker room.

The Sanders pick - or better, Gabriel, either one (or even each!) could have been two position players on rookie contracts. Those are better low risk moves.

The Browns are in a talent pinch at wr which is why they tendered Eligh Moore and signed troubled Dionte Johnson. Before theses two moves the Browns top 3 pass catching threats were wr Jerry, te Njoku and…...maybe the rookie te they drafted from BG? Cut either knucklehead if they step out of line. Perhaps the Browns should have tried to sign Cooper or Keenan Allen, two bets while past their prime they could provide some guidance & leadership with the young rookie qb’s.

You have two rookie QB’s who are not physically dominant like a Josh Allen and the Browns have:
* not added any oline help from last year
* are going with 2 rookie rb’s
* signed 2 troubled wr’s who while talented are troubled from a character standpoint
* #1 wr Jeudy has been a head case in the past but had a breakout year last season. Is he mentally ready to be a leader & #1 wr?

All QB’s but especially rookie QB’s need solid veterans around them for help. Just seems like the Browns are not helping the rookies to succeed.

A rookie hand-off machine in 12 personnel doesn't need much more 🤷‍♂️

Thanks for reminding us why this organization is not fit to take a flyer on one project QB, much less spending 3 picks on two project QBs in one draft, with an old, expensive, roster full of holes.

Seems more like the Browns did a few smart things in most of the first two days with the first four picks, and then went on a coke binge and yit all over their shoes.

I like the add of a "lightning RB" with Judkins, but that was a need to meet via an UDFA selection, for me, all things considered.

OL, safety, WR, and CB were not addressed with a single pick while 2 project QBs are taken with three picks - or worse yet, 2 project QBs and 2 good RBs taken with 5 picks. With the Browns roster as it is, that's just idiotic.

The NFL.com take here seems equally stupid. Grading each days picks like they were independent acts by disparate actors ? Comprehensively, our whole draft was goofy AF. I see A+, B-, and C-, day over day. Because they seem to have begun the draft with a great plan and went off into the weeds after their pick of the BG TE.

"Starting off with a good plan, half-completing it, and then inexplicably 'celebrating' that initial success by going off in a different direction because you are fools listening to the noise around you", that is what we just saw from the Browns "brain trust". THAT is why someone else should be spending the two first round picks next year, and I don't care if - MAYBE - that means Jimmy telling Berry and DePo, "I'm firing you guys because you are too weak to tell me to, 'Shut up and sit down, Mr Haslam!'". All we have are assumptions of how the Haslam/Berry/DePo/Stefanski dynamics work, and a disjointed end result. With one strong voice, i.e. The Dorse, this doesn't happen.
