He got the chit kicked out of him in the bowl game.He put up good numbers but he sucks?
He brought it up so that when Watson starts next year and is once again dismal, he can say that the qb has not fully recovered and still needs more time, so be patient. He will express confidence that Watson will once again regain premier status. So Andrew Berry is saying at the live press conference that Watson has had a set back in his rehab.
Yet he would provide absolutely no further info after taking five or so questions about it.
Why even bring it up now then?
hes not worse than Lerner Jr,but he is worse than Lerner Sr( RIP).I remember when people were giddy over Haslem buying the team. He couldn't be worse than Lerner could he?
I'm thinking it may mean Watson won't be ready for the start of the 2025 season, and will never play here again. He brought it up so that when Watson starts next year and is once again dismal, he can say that the qb has not fully recovered and still needs more time, so be patient. I assume that was to lay the groundwork for him not playing another snap for the Browns. So Andrew Berry is saying at the live press conference that Watson has had a set back in his rehab.

Every mock has sanders and Ward going top 3.He got the chit kicked out of him in the bowl game.
Why do you think draft experts have him going in the second round?
Johnny Football put up big numbers against better teams.
We want no part of him and his father, regardless. He's not a midget
Sanders = Vegas Raiders. It's a perfect match.I think Sanders could be an okay NFL QB. That being said, I don't want an okay QB with the second pick in the draft. He doesn't have elite arm strength and he's not particularly fast or elusive. He has decent touch and okay arm strength and can make plays but he'll take time to get to the level of an average NFL QB if he gets there at all. You'd then also have to take on all of the attention that comes with the Sanders.
When he skips the combine, has an average Pro Day and the scouts get to pick through all of his tape, he may not even be a consideration at the top of the draft.
I don't want sanders either and I don't think he will be an excellent NFL QB BTWAnd he sucks.

Which gives us no obligation to be one of the idiots picking Sanders that highly. A mock draft also must attempt to predict the desperation and stupidity of NFL GMs. Please, make a note of this.Every mock has sanders and Ward going top 3.

Wonder if the Browns have some kind of insurance policy on Watson to cash in on if an "injury" ends his career. If they don't, then they are dumber than we all think they are.Maybe Jimmy just made a back room "never heal deal" with Watson ? He may be that dumb.
Maybe Watson will blackmail Jimmy, and they will simultaneously shoot each other in a "pay me again" deal-gone-bad when Watson spends it all on "massages"? If you've never dreamed......
Oh heck yeah. Jimmy would endorse the check right over if Watson would wag his foot like Al Czervik’s arm making a spot for Noonan. He cares more about the cap space than any price. Gotta have a winner on the field for the new barn.Wonder if the Browns have some kind of insurance policy on Watson to cash in on if an "injury" ends his career. "had a setback" = "I had my assistant GM run over his leg in the parking lot"So Andrew Berry is saying at the live press conference that Watson has had a set back in his rehab.

That might be true - if he was anywhere near the Browns' facility anytime in the recent past. Sounds like he's completely separated himself from the team ever since the injury. Heck, as soon as he was allowed to, Nick Chubb was standing on the sideline last year."had a setback" = "I had my assistant GM run over his leg in the parking lot"
I wonder if Jimmy will take a call from the Sanders while they're on the clock.I wonder how much pressure Jimmy is putting on Berry to draft Sanders so he can sell jerseys and get publicity. Did he learn anything from the Manziel circus?
Thay'll tell him to , under no circumstances, draft the kid. I can see them trading down to the Giants or Raiders, teams that he wants to play for and who do not draft far below the Browns.I wonder if Jimmy will take a call from the Sanders while they're on the clock.
They better have the info way before that IMO … I just don’t see the Browns wanting him … too much like DW … and I don’t see the Sanders camp wanting to come to Cleveland …. a trade is the most likely scenario IMOI wonder if Jimmy will take a call from the Sanders while they're on the clock.
Rex the toe-sucker is comin' back !Look who the Jets are interested in for their GM post:
The Jets have asked to speak with Kansas City Chiefs assistant GM Mike Borgonzi, according to ESPN. They also requested Los Angeles Rams senior personnel executive Ray Farmer.![]()
By the time the draft gets here it's possible the Raiders will be able to get him without trading up.Thay'll tell him to , under no circumstances, draft the kid. I can see them trading down to the Giants or Raiders, teams that he wants to play for and who do not draft far below the Browns.
The Browns are in a league of their own when it comes to incompetent management but the Jets are getting closer every year. Could argue that over the last 10 years they've been worse. Of course, our guy Jimmy won't let that title go away easily. Without the Watson trade, the Jets would be the clear favorite in mismanagement. Over the last 10 years they have been terrible, at least we got to see some bright spots.Look who the Jets are interested in for their GM post:
