What a great idea especially during big games when the lines are so long you miss most of the third quarter by the time you get your food under the old system.

This year at home football games you can download the free Fan Food App and use it to order your concessions, pay for it online, receive a text when ready and pick it up at special window. No waiting!
 
 
That is a great feature. Must have a very organized crew running the concession stand to pull something like this off.
 
To be honest I am surprised it has taken some of the bigger high schools this long to do. It's small but things like this keep people coming to the games in an age where many stay home to watch from the comfort of their own home with no lines.
 
This is going to be interesting in how this works out. I hope they make people pay for it a head of time or there will be kids playing games with orders.

The initial post suggests that you pay for it online at the time that you place the order. As long as a kid doesn't get a hold of someone else's unlocked mobile device, there shouldn't be any problems with fake orders.
 
Careful, or this might be added as a determiner of Competitive Balance.

1. How many males in 9-11 ?
2. How many feeder schools
3. Does your school use a food app for concessions?

The CB proposal a few years ago included a factor (may have acted as a subtractor, IIRC) for free and reduced lunches as well as a tradition factor for successful programs. What about a tradition factor for exceptional concession stand service (go to each stadium and time how long it takes to get a standard order of hot dog, popcorn, and hot chocolate), or a factor for free and reduced concessions? :sneaky:
