In a few minutes I am going to tempt one of the minor gods of nature and leave my house, support a small business owner and his employees by purchasing a coffee and donut, celebrate my heritage by adding a little American bourbon, and go for a walk in the park.

If I'm lucky I will see an early spring migrant.
