Cavs 2020-2021

What a box score, seven in Double figures just wish I could have watched it...BAM!

It helps when you play a team that has no interest in defense. Read somewhere that the Cavs had 11 consecutive uncontested shots during a run last night, that is what you get when this piece replaced your best defenders>

I wouldn't have thought this at the beginning of the season, but IMO 1/5th of the way into the campaign this is clearly going to be a 6th-8th seed playoff team in the East if they can get and stay fairly healthy and if they avoid trading Love and/or Drummond without getting an immediate core piece(s) in return.

Coming off of back-to-back wins in very high scoring games against one of the most offensively talented teams in the league, the Cavs are still sitting at 4th in defensive efficiency through 15 games. They seem to be doing a great job of building a team identity and culture (no nonsense booting Porter out) and now have a nice core of about 7 guys under 28 that are either on rookie deals or reasonably modest second contracts. There's a lot to be optimistic about for several years IMO.

Kyrie trade turned into one of the best trades in nba history.

To Brian's point-

The Cavs play on back to back nights against the Lakers tonight. But there well rested.

Starters last night.

Nance 13 minutes
Osman 18 minutes
Drummod 18 minutes
Sexton 16 minutes
Okoro 29 minutes

The starters are well rested for playing on back to back nights.

Reserves last night.

Prince 21 minutes
Wade 8 minutes
McGee 15 minutes
Allen 26 minutes
Garland 23 minutes
Dotson 28 minutes
Windler 26 minutes

The starters played less minutes than the reserves. So no excuses about back to back nights

The Cavs could beat the Lakers tonight or give them all that they want.

I might watch tonight, Lebro might even snap an ACL for us.

Lost but competed very well. The Lakers pulled away late to win by 7.

Not surprised at all with how much "load management" was enacted last night.

Looks like Koby Altman will probably have the best wishes from the organization in his future endeavors at season's end.
