Canton McKinley Football 2024

How do you know how the majority of Canton fans feel? How is he a top notch coach? Take those lies some place else.
You are the not so silent majority of social media spreading this poison. Hall is improving things in your program while he continues to win. Maybe in not as dominant if fashion as YOU want, but he is winning and will continue to turn what was a total mess around. Frankly I can not think of a better candidate to do so. Since you know so much, who do you think would come in and do better than Hall. Just be patient, it's a slow process that is happening.

To be honest bro and I'm not trying to take a shot at nobody but sometimes when you're dealing with inner city kids it can be a real challenge that's why most people won't take the job. I understand it puts a lot of people in a difficult spot because I feel like inner city kids need more guidance because we all know the route that they can take I can guarantee you that coach Hall and his staff punish the kids accordingly but with these kids nowadays there's just a different level of disrespect that they display from within and it definitely takes a lot to be able to reach them trust me some kids you can get to but some kids it's already so far gone and the sad part about it is you can already see their future and it ends with them going in two places I'm pretty sure you can guarantee what two places I'm talking about. I clearly am not a McKinley fan but it definitely touches a soft spot for me being a black man and when it comes to Intercity kids and the sad part is it's not the kids themselves it's some of the adults that are around them some of the activities that I have seen during the course of me being a youth football coach is mind blowing and it is truthfully diabolical because the adults that the kids look up to give them nothing to look up to because they are engaging in the same activities that some of these kids are into when you grow up and all you see is darkness and poverty sometimes that's all you know. It's definitely a lot deeper than a lot of people think
We don't agree on alot because our schools and cities are rivals but I agree. People who truly know alot of these kids know the challenges you speak of. MOST who got defensive or objective about what you said don't really care about or really KNOW these kids other than they see them on GameDay and either cheer for them or call them thugs for getting penalties (sometimes unwarranted and wrong). So as long as they make plays most could gaf about anything they may be going through or care to really know them. Most are concerned with the Name of the school over the kids who represent the school. So again, as someone who has seen alot of these kids grow up and seen some of the adversity some of them have had to deal with, I agree wholeheartedly with what you said regardless who you support

I definitely agree with you on that bro I don't care about Massillon or McKinley when it comes to making sure children has a chance to live a better life in the long run. The rivalry is great but as long as these kids have a chance at life and they don't become statistics is what I care about

But do their fans ACTUALLY expect better?
I am not so sure about that. Doesn't keeping Baum for 10 years, with a winning percentage slightly above 50% say otherwise?
Fans are responsible for personnel decisions? Next you'll be telling us they draw up schedules too.

Man you are dense. If the NC fans were actually disgruntled, and made that well known to the powers that be, it would be the first step to hopefully getting a change made.

Obviously you have never heard of the old saying "The squeaky wheel gets the grease" have you? This is even more true in this social media age.

I guess in your mind, upset parents and tax payers have never banded together to get something changed that they didn't like.

I am sure that North Canton has some alums or backers that would carry some influence.

No run along and bask in the glory of your Vikings moral victories against Green and McKinley.

Pointing out your stupid takes on those games has nothing to do with moral victories. I saw you made another terrible prediction involving Fitch and Perry. Maybe you should just stop exposing yourself?

NC fans posting here, including myself, have been critical for years. I actually interact with Hoover fans as I'm among them every Friday night, there are plenty of disgruntled people. You are delusional because you come from a place where the football program runs the school system, in normal places that isn't the case. As long as the coach doesn't rock the boat with allegations of impropriety he's good.

"We don't agree on alot because our schools and cities are rivals but I agree. People who truly know alot of these kids know the challenges you speak of... "

Dear Sir, We should all be aware of social problems in our community. However, to put it mildly, "Life Is UNFAIR.!"

Now, what do we do about it? In My Opinion, one thing we should NOT do is to give a LIFE TIME Appointment to an INCOMPETENT Head Coach. Instead, maybe we should teach getting and keeping a job based on MERIT!

Our Head Coach is now completing his FOURTH year. How much longer should he keep his job before he begins teaching our players basic football fundamentals?

How much longer do we accept double digit game penalties with over 100 yards marked off against us?

When does a coach stop saying: It is up to the players to police themselves?

When will the Federal League Office step in and say, again: Control your players, OR the League will penalize your school? (Please read about the firing of McK Head Coach Todd Filtz.)

How many more major colleges will refuse to recruit McK athletes because of the "baggage" they bring with them?

So, sure, let's have a discussion on Life's Problems. BUT, at the end of the day , SUCCESS IN LIFE is going to depend on MERIT and Personal Responsibility - NOT getting "breaks" due to your social circumstances.

Good luck to all, sam

I really think the talk of replacing the head coach needs to be delayed until the end of the season. Really isn’t pertinent at this moment.

Please remind me of my terrible prediction on the Fitch/Perry game. I will wait.

GO BULLDOGS, whoop on that federal league!

Send to WHBC radio broadcasting team.... maybe they'll have the courage to pose these penalty issues to A. Hall on their next pre-game interview.
(more than likely, however, he'll just place all of the blame on the players and refs)

Ohiocrew, Your wish is my command! I placed the following message on the WHBC website e-mail:

Dear Sir, As a thought for your next McKinley football head coach interview, please ask: WHY so many PENALTIES? For the past FOUR Games, there were 49 penalties for 423 yards as follows: N.Canton 12/98, Green 13/115, Perry 10/79, Glen-Oak 14/131. This averages to 12.3 Penalties at 105.8 yards per game. I thought your fans would appreciate the question. Thank you.

Ohiocrew, It is all up to WHBC now. Good luck to all, sam

Raymo, I see on the internet that the McKinley vs Lake Game is going to be broadcast on : spectrum news 1.

In the Cleveland area, I get my TV Cable thru COX COMMUNICATIONS, and the "spectrum news 1" channel is one of my regular selections.
-------------------------------

For others, when I put "spectrum news 1 high school football" into my browser, I can see where this game is offered. My GUESS is that there will probably be a FEE to watch the game. AGAIN, I am GUESSING here, and do not know what is going to happen. ALL I can say is "GOOD LUCK." sam

Raymo, There is another way to watch the McKinley vs Lake game on the internet. Go to the Yappi FRONT PAGE and the first offering is broadcast streaming videos. For FRIDAY, it looks like WHBC and you-tube are teaming up to show the game. Good Luck, sam

Yes, most fans expect better but the fans don't hire the coaches. Most fans that I have spoken with are not happy with a 500 record and feel that it's time for a change. This coach has had 10 years to prove himself and many of the fans can't believe that he has not been replaced.

Thank you Sam,if we make it thru this Milton storm I shall be on YouTube for sure...BAM!

Honestly I would not be shocked to see the pups drop an L to either Lake or Jackson with the way they’ve been playing and how undisciplined they are. 5-5 is not out of the question. Pizza gate and Hall have destroyed the program.
And that’s a terrible shame. I’m not sure how Whattley became head coach back then, but I’m sure there was some shady connections involved. Then after all of that happens, Hall becomes the savior of McKinley football, and the decision maker of all of McKinley sports. Who gets hired or fired. Even though a small group of people thought Bogdan would make some decisions. I have yet to see that. McKinley politics have crushed the football program to pieces.
