Just heard from a "reliable source" that starting with week 3, all remaining playoff games will be at the 'Shoe. The OHSAA has gotten so many complaints that they just pulled the trigger and did it.....so this way everyone is happy.

From my source:

To get all the games in in one week, week 3 games will start this coming Sunday at noon. The schedule will be released Saturday by 11pm after the last week 2 games are over. Ohio State, Penn State is next Saturday....so the last week 3 game will be Friday at 11am so they have time to get the 'Shoe ready for the matchup with PSU

-D1 games will be the early games...likely starting at noon each day....because everybody likes noon games :)

-All presale tickets will be at the participating schools........NO ONLINE....AND NO TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE GATE....due to complaints about long waits in the past. Licensed scalpers will be permitted to buy up to 300 tickets per game directly from the OHSAA and will be selling tickets at whatever pricing they desire. You can purchase from them outside the stadium.....no proceeds from these tickets will go to the participating schools

-The Shoe is expensive.....so tickets will be $30 per half. You will have to leave at halftime and re-enter with a new ticket to see the second half...but at least there will be plenty of good seats for everyone.....pricing shouldn't be an issue

-Parking will be free, but there will be no parking in the OSU lots since school is in session. Shuttles will be provided from the free lots. Locations will be announced soon, but it's expected that all the lots will be outside of the I-270 outerbelt....so nobody has to deal with traffic while driving into town

-Concessions.....well, there won't be any. These games were moved at the last minute.....Ohio State couldn't get volunteers in time and due to the cost of the Shoe, the OHSAA has decided not to pay for concession workers. Most people won't care....as concessions at every venue are always too expensive anyway!

-Referees- Again, the rescheduling has caused an issue. The OHSAA has hired a group of B1G 12 officials to come in to handle all of the games. The B1G 12 is well known for it's quality officiating so the OHSAA figured this was the best course of action....they will have 6 retired or recently fired NFL officials on standby should they be needed

-Lastly, the OHSAA will see how this decision works out before deciding on how the remainder of the playoffs will be scheduled. They will have an online fan poll on Twitter following the last games on Thursday. They will take those results into consideration when determining the rest of the playoff schedule.

You can find more info online at www.itsaslowfriday.org I really hope nobody thought this post was serious :) Have a great weekend!
