My good friend Bill Farrell is wrestling this weekend. Oh, never mind. I read that wrong. Bill Farell is actually a really good FS/GR/WFS tournament that is a qualifier for the US OLY Trials. I think the top US guy earns a spot. Yankee or MP can correct me if I got that wrong. Regardless, some really interesting names are going at it. Here's a taste:
57kg Suriano, Nashon Garrett, Nato
65kg McKenna, Heil, Molinaro, Oliver
74kg Perhaps my favorite weight class - Mekhi Lewis , Cenzo Joseph, IMar, and Nolf - WOW!
86kg Ringer, Abounader, MyMar
97kg Snyder and nobody
125kg Stevesonand nobody
 
 
Gross wins 4-2
I guess his shoulder is OK.

And Nashon Garrett gets beat by Zane Richards 5-3. Probably sucking too much weight. Richards vs Nato in semis.

I was traveling all day and didn't get to see too much, but that's correct- top US placer (has to finish top 3) that hadn't previously placed. Macchiavello qualified at 97kg, since he's in the finals and Snyder has already qualified. The other five qualifiers will be the winners of the finals, which are at 6pm.

Notable results:
57kg- Richards over Nahshon, Russell over Clark, Tomasello over Russell/Richards, Gross over Suriano/Cruz, Tomasello-Gross finals
65kg- McKenna over Heil, Oliver over McKenna, Oliver-Molinaro finals
74kg- Massa over Marsteller, Cenzo over Mekhi, Nolf over Massa/Cenzo, IMar over Gantt, IMar-Nolf finals
86kg- Myles Martin over Jackson/Pfarr, Ringer-Martin finals
97kg- Macchiavello over Walz, Snyder-Macchiavello finals (both have qualified for trials)
125kg- Gable over Hemida, Bradley over Dhesi, Gable-Bradley finals
 
57 Nato loses 11-1 to Gross
65 Oliver over Molinaro 8-6
74 IMar over Nolf 12-0
86 Ringer over MyMar 7-2
97 Snyder over Macchiavello 10-0

Big for Gross, that weight can't be fun to make. Nolf got hurt against Cenzo, so that result isn't too notable. MyMar should qualify at the Open, since Ringer, Taylor and PD3 are already qualified now
