Big Ten Basketball 2024-2025 Season

Woody Hayes hated TTUN as do all true OSU fans. I hope SCUM goes winless in the BIG.

Good for him. MLK JR was correct on equal rights for everyone but incorrect on the way he wanted a socialistic government. People can be right and wrong on different things

Also back when Woody Hayes coached the Big Ten wasn’t as much in such a war against the southeast. The landscape has completely changed

Lastly you are correct, Michigan I wouldn’t mind going winless in the Big Ten as long as they won all of their non conference games

The wars weren't as direct with the bowl system. It would be fun speculation if there were playoffs. MIght have been a PAC12-SEC war. The NE might have retained more of their talent. Remember, Syracuse and Penn St were players as well as the academies. Rutgers, Mass and Conn might have become significant!

I listened to a clip of Greg Sankey earlier and as much as I hate him and that conference they understand what it takes to win. Where is Tony Petiti holding these universities feet to the fire about turning around their basketball programs??

It’s a major black eye when Tom freaking Izzo is the best coach in your league. That’s just atrocious

Anyone else not give a 💩 what the rest of Big Ten does in any sport? Think about this way. If you are a Georgia fan that was cheering for Florida Monday night, you’re a cuck

Atrocious.
737-302 (71%) W/L and always plays the toughest non-league schedule
11 Regular Season B10 Championships, 6 B10 Tourney championships
27 NCAA Tournament bids, 8 Final Fours, 1 Championship.

I am not a fan of his, but credit where it is due. The man is a Hall of Famer.

I expect more than one title from the best coach in a conference that's perceived as such a high level of play and a title within the last 10 years. People look at him as some kind of God send to coaching and treat him like he’s Bob Knight or Coach K when he isn’t close to either one

He really hasn’t come close to winning a title since he won one time in 1999-2000

Dusty May continues to kill it in the portal by grabbing a commitment from 7'3 UCLA center Aday Mara.

A highly-coveted prospect from Spain who performed very well in a bench role last season as a sophomore.
Different positions but does this have anything to do with that one transfer possibly going to the draft? Or did they have an open spot for Mara regardless?

6.4 points, 4 boards and 1.6 blocks per game in 13 minutes is great production.

From what I could find. In the last 39 years,(shot clock and 3 point line) only 8 coaches have won more than two titles. And only 3 are still coaching in college.

I think they have a few open spots to fill. Mara will be a rotation player at worst from day one.
