Bearcats basketball 2017-2018

Completely different team in second half.

Amazing how they were able to flip the switch in the 2nd half, 41-18. Evans needs to get it figured out, but the bench has been very good in Orlando. I think Scott and Brooks have looked pretty good. Williams hasn't been a turnover machine like he's been at times this year. The biggest difference with this team is they never think they're out of it because they can actually score. Many times when UC faces a 10+ point deficit at half, they can't climb out of that hole.

Would rather play Wichita State again tomorrow as they'd probably be a better test going into the tournament, plus the AAC title game usually has no influence on the committee since it's played so late in the afternoon.

Yep. Both teams should be able to loose because they are both such good (and relatively close as far as resumes go) teams that -- no matter the result -- each teams seed is pretty much baked in by now.
Bearcats are looking at a #2 seed either way. They're looking like a VERY dangerous team.

Absolutely. Last year both UC and SMU were #6 seeds even though SMU basically dominated the Championship Game. When the game ends around 5:30 and the selection show airs at 6pm, not much will change. Based on everything the experts say (Lunardi, Palm, etc.) UC is looking at a #2 seed, Wichita #3/4 and Houston #6/7.

Bearcats are in great position for a 2 seed with a win today and possibly still have a shot with a loss.

Houston has been playing fantastic basketball over the past few games so UC will certainly have their hands full.

Another poor first half defensively. Bearcats have really struggled with perimeter defense the last two days. Memphis just couldn't make a shot in the second half yesterday

They've missed Cumberland. The two quick (questionable) fouls early in the 2nd half, then obviously that ticky-tack foul for his 4th. Broome needs to start driving the ball to the hoop.

Clark's dream season continues to reach new highs.

UC's opponents averaged 20 second half points in the AAC tournament.

Now give us that 2 seed within 4 hours of home.
