Junior Barry Hensley has announced that he is resigning from his position as a member of the Mason Wrestling Team,
Hensley,who has been on the wrestling team at the school for 3 years was signed a 3 year wrestling contract under former Mason Coaches Daniel Little, Russ Fallon,Vance Reid,Jason Dean,Bob Carter and Craig Murnan in November 2006.
09-10 was Hensley's third year on the team after taking the 08-09 season off
he went 3-7 this past season and was 8-22 during his 3 Wrestling seasons,His best year came in 8th Grade when he went 5-4 but when he got up to his Freshman year he came in 0-10 during 07-08.
Then After 07-08,Hensley joined the Mason Football Team for his Sophomore year and he has continued playing Football for his junior and is currently preparing his senior year of Football and he stated that he wanted to do wrestling one more time and then move out of his wrestling position and learn Football more.
then after the 2008 season,Hensley announced he would keep Football in his involvement and leave wrestling.
Hensley hopes they find a new wrestler to succeed him next year
