The Athena Wrestling Club would like to announce their 1st College Combine for Women's Wrestling. There are a ton of college opportunities out there for girls looking to wrestle in college. MANY with athletic scholarship money to be had...the problem is not every girls goes to Texas or Colorado to compete in USA National events where they can be "found" by college coaches. Athena WC has teamed up with the MatBoss Podcast to create this incredible opportunity for girls to be seen by college coaches in a training environment. The events will be held at Harrison High School (Cincinnati) May 16th. As of 2/24/20 we have 14 Women's college Programs committed to attending this event. The cost is $70 per athlete and girls will get a t-shirt and 2 sessions of technique, training, and live wrestling where college coaches will be able to watch to see how your wrestler trains, competes, and interacts with other wrestlers and coaches. Each athlete will have an Combine Profile sheet added to the Coaches Packet with all of their information. All registrations are being done on Flo Wrestling. We have girls from Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Arkansas, and New York already registered. If you have questions, please email chris.baird@southwestschools.org
