No not really, but its still interesting, especially the articles each of us find about the games. Its history and that is fascinating isn't?

That guy is from Bluefield, West Virginia. The town is partially in Virginia. He started with those two states and then just got hooked. I don't know if he will ever do all of Ohio. He started with the Ohio schools that play West Virginia schools a lot.

Try Classmates and check out the yearbooks. I have been working in a season by season records of all active schools plus those who no longer exist or have been consolidated. Columbus library has Dispatch copies but only up through 1985. Newspapers.com cost about $75 I think every 6 months.
If you have a School you want let me know and maybe I can help.
Anyone who has Cleveland, Akron, Canton Youngstown schools season records your help would be appreciated. I have about 90 percent of the season by season records for all active schools. Many schools have helped with my work. Contact is beckmcpr@gmail.com.

Game-by-game results going back to 1972. By my estimation, I have over 99% of all detail for the nearly 180,000 games that have taken place since then (of the 818 programs that have played in that time, I have FULL results for 373 of them; and for maybe about another 100, I'm only missing one or two games). I keep season-total records as well, but mostly as a check to see if my individual game results are accurate. I'm looking to take it public once I get a little more info and can work with the right web designers, but if you're looking for anything specific, let me know.

I have been researching high school football in ohio for 18 counties in my area (Wayne, Tuscarawas, Carroll, Harrison, Holmes, Coshocton, Jefferson, Columbiana, Mahoning, Trumbull, Portage, Stark, Summit, Medina, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, and Ashtabula). fourseasonsfootball.com has filled in some of my missing information, but I am missing several others in his area, the ones remaining are schools that no longer exist. Thanks for your link to vindy blitz history this worked for most of them from Columbiana/Mahoning/Trumbull. The only one's not working was for the Warren JFK game on 9/7/96 vs Kennedy Catholic and Southington Chalker on 9/30/95 vs Danbury Lakeside as those two schools links didn't show the history. Thanks though, that was a big help.

Also, where are you finding the Lake, Geauga, Ashtabula county stuff from 1991-97? I have scores, but home/away has been hard for me to find. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the two scores, as far as Lake, Geauga, and Ashtabula County I found these from archives in the Cleveland Plain Dealer from the District Library in Canton, or from the Cleveland Public Library by using a database.

I started tabulating results on Cleveland-area schools about 15 years ago. I initially went back to 1968 but then back to 1951 for the most part. There are some books on Cleveland prep football history as well.

Will vouch for fourseasonsfootball.com. I have shared a lot of information with him that he has published much quicker than I ever would have.

I have focused on SE Ohio - specifically the old Southeastern Ohio Athletic League.

My research goes back to 1925 for those schools - Athens, Gallipolis, Jackson, Logan, Middleport, Nelsonville, Pomeroy, and Wellston (and their successors through consolidation; plus other short time members). I am always looking for older games for those schools.

I'm happy to share anything I have.
