8th grade QB leads High School to State Title

Good for him. As a parent, there is zero chance I have my 8th grader play high level high school football.

These days it seems like everyone wants to push, push, push. If the kid is that good, playing as an 8th grader won't affect him getting scholarship offers. I just hope this kid doesn't burn out or go down a bad path, as often happens when they're pushed so much at such a young age.

Pete Johnson fullback for OSU back in the 70's, started playing H.S. football in the 7th grade.
