Why were there PKs? Was it a tournament?

Yes. Jesuit Cup. 4 Jesuit schools (Ignatius, Walsh, Toledo St John, and St. X) get together and play each other. I don't know that it would go down officially as a win or not, rather than a tie since it was a regular-season game. They went straight to PKs as well, so a little out of the norm.

I think the Jesuit Cup games officially go down as a tie as far as regular season records go - but they need to do PKs to determine who goes to the final (or wins the cup the next day).
