#5 Sugarcreek Garaway vs #4 Garrettsville Garfield

 
DE for Garaway got into the backfield 6x last game for 6 sacks. Player of the game type of night. At least G-Men Offense will keep him guessing where the ball is going. Hopefully won't be too much of an impact player.

Dang 6 sacks pretty solid. They played us in 19 so they have seen our offense before should be be a good game hopefully
 
Two very good small school programs that have been consistently good for over a decade now. Garaway probably the favorite, but I’ve got the Gmen in a close one
 
This will definitely be a great ball game I watched a G men game earlier in the season they are definitely a tough ground and pound football team . I think it would be interesting to see how Garaway handles playing going to Grass surface because ik they play on turf now but if they can overcome that and turn this game into a shootout I think they definitely could win comfortably. I agree. Should be interesting to see how they play on a grass field
 
Garaway has played on Grass this year although against a young 2-8 Tuskey Valley team they won 48-7. Hopefully everyone stays healthy and good luck to you guys.
 
I see this as a 2 score game in favor of Garaway. I am just going off of the highlights of the of Garfield and Trinity. If Trinity played them that close in their spread, Garaway should have no issues. Just my opinion.

I'm not going to lie if I am the G-Men coaching staff I'm watching the Garaway versus Indian valley game because I'm pretty sure Indian valleys running back ran for over 300 yards.

Very true, but I like that the G-Men have at least 3 very good backs and at least two to three others who can run the ball very well. Hard to key in on a specific player. I feel its going to come down to playing good clean game for the G-men top to bottom. Also very young team in Garfield

It's not about the individual player it's about the scheme that they was able to execute to be able to run for 300 yards. I mean clearly in garaways case there was something wrong with their defense that allowed them to give up a ton of Rushing yards, what I'm saying is if garrettsville can watch film they might be able to execute the same running scheme that Indian valley ran in order for them to be successful and to move on to the next round.

The IV game would be good to watch but I think IV is a better team than Garaway so that was a big factor. I personally think the Ridgewood game plan was the one they should try to copy. I don’t know enough about the G-Men to say if they are the better team or not but I would be confident saying that Garaway is probably the better team (Sluss himself would probably even say that! 😂) but Ridgewood beat them anyway. That was a great game plan and scheme that was executed to perfection!

Absolutely I do think Garaway is the overall better team but I also think with garrettsville playing at home and it should be a nice crowd could also give them an advantage to be able to win.
