Not real familiar with Men's VB. Do many Public schools not have teams?

You can find the full list here. There are not too many teams in general, but there are plenty of public schools on that list. Not many have top of the state established programs quite yet which accounts for the few in the state rankings

Didn't realize there were so few. I'm guessing Privates have a head start because of their CYO/Grade school programs.

Exactly correct. At least that is the case in the Cincinnati area. I cannot say for other areas of Ohio

Division 1 is a total cluster of teams trying to find their A-games.

I think right now it's a three horse race with X, Moeller and Elder bunched at the top with Centerville slightly behind and then a drop off.

I don't know that Centerville's ceiling is high enough than the three Cincy teams.

It should make up for a crazy regional final for one of the matches to get out of the South. Seeding will be huge (as it most always is) coming out of the South.

Centerville Elite tournament is this weekend which could clear things up, or potentially bring in more questions as to what to expect in the tournament this year. Based on state rankings the matchups will be:

8. St Ignatius

4. Centerville
5. Darby

6. Hilliard Davidson
