The Buckeyes (11-3, 5-3 Big) continued the mastery over a solid Illinois (9-5, 5-3 Conf) team this afternoon with a six point win. The Buckeyes led by as many as seventeen but without their top two point guards they had to work hard to post the win. The Buckeyes hit 53.7% of their shots compared to 48.3% for the home team. E.J.Liddell (Belleville, IL) paced the winners with 26 points and 7 boards.
