After looking at those numbers. It is crazy to me that TV has a higher competitive balance number than Troy Christian, Dayton Christian, Lehman Catholic and Catholic Central.
 
I find it funny how you out Ansonia in the “big school” side. They would no doubt compete but having 212 kids in HS is far from a big school.

Barger? Whatever happened to the Stockton guy. I heard Barger royally screwed up several pictures for a couple sports this year.

I agree, but that was a big reason in favor of expansion and divisions...flexibility. A team like Ansonia could be on the "bigger" side of the league, but if circumstances change they could be moved to the smaller division and the opposite is also true. If a different school is right now not-so-good, but they get it rolling, they could be moved "up".

Doesn't matter now though. The WOAC ADs voted against expansion. On one hand I get it. the league is doing fine right now. On the other hand, I think expansion really could've helped by eliminating (or at least limiting) the 70-0 blowout games when the top of the league plays schools who are barely fielding a team. It can't be easy growing a program and convincing kids to come out when the kids know that they are getting 3 complete beatings every year. I would imagine telling Bradford kids they play Covington and Troy Christian instead of Preble and Tri-Village, that might be a positive thing.
Preble and Tri-Village replacing Bradford and Mississinawa on the schedule with Milton-Union and Lehman sounds like a good deal for them also.

Hopefully, expansion is only dead in the present and it can be revived in the near future.

Stockton is a great guy! To my knowledge, he is still doing team pictures. When my kids have brought home their picture packets, it's still Stockton. I think for the fall Barger did fall sports because Stockton was having some health issues.

He was OC at Zainesville last year. Before Bradford, he was the HC at Springfield NW. He also does a podcast called Run the Power. Some say he's more involved doing his podcast than actually coaching.

Preble Shawnee High School varsity football is looking for a varsity assistant coach/JV coach. We are flexible on what position(s) you will coach. There are teaching openings for high school social studies, math, and intervention specialists. There are also middle school positions available in Social Studies and Math.
